The triethanolamine (TEA) is only there to neutralize the styling polymer bring the pH close to 7 and to make a gel consistency! It’s high up in the formula because the formula is probably 80% water and polymer and everything else is at a low percentage. The TEA wouldn’t be in there at toxic levels at all. The TEA is basic (high pH) and the styling polymer used is acidic (low pH). The polymers used in gels usually need to be between 6-7 pH to have that gel consistency and feel. No need to worry! Your hair turned out bomb! I wish I could use Eco for wash n Gos but I tried back in the day and my hair is too fine for it sadly

It depends on what kind of smell it is... I've been loving the way my hair smells with Tresemme Botanique Nourish and Replenish shampoo and conditioner bc it doesn't smell like the average drugstore shampoo and the smell lasts until my next wash.

I usually use a touch of gel with a leave in , when I do my twist. Let me tell ypu... this 10x is THE BOMB!!! It is extremely moisturizing and I imagine it will make a gorgeous twist out in a couple of days.

I literally used to have to add a bunch of oils and even Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie to the mix to make gel moisturizing . I totally dislike dry hair 😩
