What a time to get back into the hobby! So excited for this. Especially since Rohan is what I loved most in lord of the rings. Really hope we get a new riders set!

Surely! Surely we see riders of rohan 😄 and if these warriors are anything to go by, they should be pretty stunning. I think it's going to be a great time to be a Rohan fan.

Suggest you check out the Nerd of the Rings interviews with Phillipa Boyens (specifically the naming convention) and other people key to the film's production (lots of overlap with people who worked on the original films) - it alleviated a lot of my concerns with how much thought/effort was put in to the film

Not had a look, but familiar wirh NOTR so will check that out. To be clear, we don't want to be haters. And it okay if we don't like it and it's okay if others do! I think my worry also comes from the fact the original trilogy sounded like it had a perfect balance between the big 3 writers and vocal actors who added input. There were changes, not all were perfect, but they got a lot more right than they got wrong. Reserve the right to be grossly wrong, but I do worry about the quality of the writting. Time will tell though, not long now. I'll check out the interviews, cheers for the tip.
