Mhambi Musonda Don't forget the New Kids on the Block 🤗 Maurice Starr managed New Edition. After they broke up, Maurice wanted to make a similar group except have them be "white boys". And that's how NKOTB came to be. They originally were supposed to be an R&B group.

Such a shame theres still turmoil behind the scenes with these guys. If the trademark talk is true then thats a really low ball move by ralph and johnny.. if anyone shud own the trademark rights it should be brooke Payne he gave them their name!. Probably wont see the 6 of them together again anytime soon. old wounds still linger the bet special just glossed over things. This is why RBRM was created so they can tour and make money still. They couldnt do that as new edition because ralph and johnny didnt want to tour with them and now own the trademark to the name.

There not working together anymore. Allegedly The new edition name was trademarked by Ralph and Johnny hench the name change to RBRM. Ralph and Johnny are touring and working together still. Seems some old wounds just never heal. Sad turn of events
