the new effects are going to sync with the gun position? the previous effects that worked with imfx didn't sync pretty well this was most notorious on a drive by, i really like your effects but i was just wondering

You mean that function was supposed to be in vanilla? If so what effects would been possible to see in game?

Yes, the game engine natively supports the ability to have particles collide with the world! It was always supposed to be there. In the effects script (effects.fxp) you can find FX_INFO_GROUNDCOLLIDE_DATA, the function that was supposed to give particles this trait, but it didn't do anything in game. The only default effect that was supposed to use this function was "prt_gunshell", the bullet casings. For my new effects, I've added some new ones such as the sparks and bullet casings in this video, as well as debris from bullet impacts, and skull fragments from headshots.
