I'm not much of a drugstore makeup type of gal but I have to say elf does have some good products. The Halo glow filter I actually think I prefer to the Charlotte Tilbury and their little 3$ eyebrow powder palette is all I use for my brows!

Hi TL idk how you do it but, historically speaking, i have no interest in the contour/blush/highlight game...zero. however, because it's you using those products and it's you doing the comparisons, taking the time to film & edit in the swatches & the b roll....I mean I can't explain why but I find myself GLUED to this dang screen. You just make things sound very interesting and worth watching. Your talents are definitely showing us your make up application tips, tricks & techniques, that's for 100% sure. But you also have the added gift & talent of making whatever it is that your passionate about IMMEDIATELY interesting to viewers. I just adore this channel!!! I haven't got the elf or the Tarte products. Simply because I already have the CT and don't need anymore (especially highlighters) added to my collection. The (elf) contour shades you used, looked so good on initial application, however, if they don't have "staying power" .... I'll pass. Love ya loads 💜💗💜💗💜💗💜

Lol…it’s funny and maybe it’s because I have a deep skin tone…The elf’s worked better for me than all the Tarte ones….the Tarte contour didn’t even show up on me. I don’t like liquid highlighter’s period…but I like both the blush and contour from ELF more than the three brands we are talking about. The other 2 don’t even have options for me…

I really like the bronzer. It really looked to blend great!! I’m gonna have to try that. Hey are you going to film or do a short vlog of y’all driving to Florida with all your fur babies?? 🤣🤣🤣I have to see that!!! Tara out of these highlighters, which one is the fairest and most cool toned (if any). I am so fair and cool, most highlights are too neutral or warm and deep and I really want a good cream/liquid/putty highlight. I have the Elf but haven't cracked it open yet. Thank you! 😊

I have the CT and I love the ELF ones just as much, and in some cases (blush) more. You didn't try the pinky ones -- Rose You Slay, Berry Radiant. I have a medium skintone and Pinkgasm is too much highlight, not enough pigment on my skintone. I usually have to mix it with rare beauty Happy.

Thank you for always being honest…I saw multiple “glowing” (haha) reviews of these, purchased them, and OMG THE GLITTER!!! Plus they are thick and chunky on the skin And they dry in like two seconds!! How is anyone blending them successfully??? 😆

I wear them 5- 9 days. If I'm wearing Eyeshadow, I like to wear them for 5-6 days , just because of the fall out and they start to look dirty lol. But. If I don't wear Eyeshadow, I will wear them for up to 9 days. I absolutely love them👏 I created a full video all about Lashify, I go into lots of details, so it seems like they take a long time to apply, but, I can do a full set in 10-15 min tops. In the KZbin search bar, search Tara Lynn Lashify and it will come up. 😁 I've been wearing them since last May and I can't go without them lol. ❤️❤️

Good morning Tara- I have a question, how in the heck does your foundation never rub off when you apply cream/liquid contour, bronzer and blush? I let my foundation set down while I do my eyes, etc. I have used no creams, etc on my face before applying foundation, I have sprayed a setting spray on after foundation, I have tried using a light setting powder…. You name it. I’ve never rubbed anything while applying only tapping and I use the brushes you use. 😢. Please someone tell me what my deal is and what’s the trick.. ❤❤❤

Hmmm. I've never had that problem. I'm not sure why it's making your Foundation rub off. It should blend into Foundation, not remove it. The only time I have issues with that is when I'm using a Blush that has a more emollient base to it. And when applied on the cheek, the shine any the emollients will make the foundation disappear. Lol. But, I've never had that issue with Cream or liquid Bronzer. I'm sorry sweets😫 That's beyond frustrating. What are you using to blend it out?

Were you asking what I am using to blend out my foundation or a creamer liquid bronzer and contour? I use the BK beauty brushes for my foundation as well as cream and bronzers obviously different brushes by BK beauty and sometimes I will dab very damp. Beauty sponge lightly over the foundation and let that sit for a little bit and then I’ll go in with a cream product and it just rubs the foundation right off.

@Sheri Hays sorry, I should have been more clear🫣 But, yeah, I was wondering what you were using to blend out the cream or liquid Bronzer. The brushes and tools you're using are great. I'm just not sure what is causing your Foundation to lift and rub off. That's beyond frustrating. The one thing about the beauty sponge is that you want it lightly damp, not very damp. Not sure if I read that right, but wanted to mention it anyway😁 I usually squeeze out all the water out of my sponge, then let it sit for a minute while I prep my skin before using it. The more damp, the more it will pick up the foundation and mix water into your foundation. I hope you get it figured out. I'm just not sure what is causing your Bronzer application to lift your Foundation. So frustrating 😫❤️
