After going on a trip to one of the caverns they were unfortunately trapped after rains flooded the caves. Elon was on twitter at the time saying he had his engineers working on a rescue "submarine"(it was a cramped coffin essentially). The team leader of a group of rescue divers told him his coffin sucked and they didn't need his help. Cue Elon blowing up and insinuating that a white male was in Thailand to hook up with lady boys and was a pdf file.

Elon proposed building a mini submarine to get the kids out, disregarding the time it would take to build this mini sub, testing it and deploying it while still being able to get these children out safely. Being fair to Elon here, they did build and do a scuffed test of a prototype. In the time it took to get this submarine ready, the rescue squad who was deployed saved the kids. They then said that the tech that Elon sent wouldn't really have been helpful to them. Elon took to twitter and called one of the lead rescuers a pedophile in return.

Guy's been lying about his companies' status of products/technologies, product timelines, capabilities, demand potential (reservations), company growth potential, etc.... lies that generated hundreds of billions of dollars in valuation growth at his companies.... and you barely heard a word about it. He lies about his achievements in video games, something we all do as a hobby and for fun, and people are suddenly ready to burn him at the stake. As a self proclaimed avid gamer, it's ironic that Musk doesn't seem to understand the intensity at which gamers hate cheaters... So for those of you who've been living under a rock... let's look at some of those billion dollar lies... He's been claiming that FSD, Tesla vehicles driving for you with no driver interventions, is within one year away every year for the past 10 years, and he claimed he was confident in his targets because he manages the team. He was confident it would be ready within one year in 2015, in 2016, in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and now in 2025. In April 2019, he claimed FSD would for sure be ready by end of 2019, and a million customer owned robotaxis (Tesla vehicles with the FSD package) would be on the roads by mid-2020 making their owners $30k per year while they slept; effectively eliminating about a million taxi / ride share / delivery driver jobs in the US with a single over the air update, distributing those workers' wages to Tesla and well off Tesla vehicle owners. Cold blooded! In 2016, he went on the set of desperate housewives and lied through his teeth about solar roof tiles, all in a bid to convince Tesla's board and investors to not only buy, but also overpay for Solar City, which at the time was insolvent and rapidly heading towards bankruptcy. Musk was Solar City's board chairman, he and his brother were its largest shareholders, SpaceX owned $90 million in Solar City bonds, and his cousins ran the company... In 2017, he unveiled the Semi and new Roadster. He claimed the Semi would be delivered to all reservation holders by 2019, and the Roadster by 2020. He claimed autonomous Tesla Semis operating in a convoy would have lower freight costs than freight trains. Yep.... In 2018, he claimed that he was taking Tesla private and had already secured funding... That likely lead to billions of losses for some investors and was found to be an SEC violation. Musk was slapped on the wrist. That year, he also called the cave diver a pedo, later lied in court about what "pedo guy" meant, while he was emailing a news company with claims that the diver was a "confirmed" pedophile... claims that turned out to be false. In November 2019, he unveiled the Cybertruck (name stolen from the game Cyberpunk, and design idea stolen from the Delorean and movie Blade Runner) with market beating specs and price, and claimed it would be available by late 2021, quickly resulting in 1+ million "100% real" reservations. It wasn't available until late 2023, missed all the promised specs and price, and turned out to be a complete POS that looks like a dumpster and is widely made fun of; along with the people who bought them. After 30k were sold, the backlog was already emptied. So much for those 1+ million reservations... In September 2020, he made claims about Tesla developing, manufacturing, and rapidly scaling industry leading battery cells. Every delivery timeline has been missed, the cells have not achieved the specs claimed, and they're not industry leading. During the event, he also claimed they'd have machines that would suck Lithium metal out of the sands of the Nevada desert.... ala Spice Harvesters from the movie/book Dune. I'm not kidding.... In early 2021, he claimed Tesla would have a 50% CAGR of vehicle sales every year between 2020 and 2030. In other words, they'd increase their annual sales by 50% every single year through 2030, ultimately hitting 20 million vehicle sales annually in 2030... nearly 2x as many as Toyota sells each year. From 2020-2024, Tesla's CAGR is sitting at 37%, and has been rapidly dropping every year since 2021, with 2024 seeing their first annual sales decline, and 2025 not looking any better. In late 2023, when it became clear Tesla would never achieve 50% CAGR through 2030, he dismissively told investors that it would be nearly impossible for any company to maintain a 50% CAGR over such a long period... almost scoffing at the idea that anyone would believe such a claim. It was the first time in 2.5 years that Tesla/Musk backed away from their 50% CAGR claim, having reaffirmed the claim in early 2023... but it wasn't his problem for making the claim.. it was everyone else's problem for believing it. He's said multiple times that he'd be the last person to sell Tesla shares, yet sold about $39 billion worth of shares starting in November 2021 and through 2022 when Tesla's stock was excessively high, and in his bid to buy Twitter. He didn't properly disclose his large Twitter share purchases... an SEC violation that's currently being investigated. He also said on multiple occasions after big share sales that he was done selling Tesla shares, then sold more shares anyways. Twitter's valuation quickly fell off a cliff. He's pushed a plethora of lies about Tesla's "Optimus" robot (name stolen from the Transformers), about Tesla's energy division (solar and battery storage) quickly growing revenue to match their vehicle division, about new factory locations (Mexico, India, etc). He's lied about Tesla's Shanghai production only being meant for Asian sales, but within one year from start of production, they changed their mind and began exporting to Europe. Plenty of more lies when it comes to Tesla... and I haven't even started on SpaceX or his other financial ventures. I haven't yet mentioned how he gamed the stock market to send Tesla's stock soaring in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. Musk lies and cheats constantly ... pathologically. If he's moving his mouth, he's almost certainly lying.

People did the math and recognized he definitely wasn't putting in the hours that account needed either, or had the understanding of how the genre worked to level up efficiently. The moment he chose diablo to lie about this stuff it was clear he doesn't understand anything about ARPG looters, because he picked the genre that being at the top of the leaderboard REQUIRES endless hours he doesn't have - to the point that if he WAS telling the truth it'd be even more damning about him faking his CEO jobs than just faking a Diablo account would be. so i was talking to a few friends the other day, and a lot of them mentioned they read this book called vibrations of manifestation by alex lane. at first, i wasn’t sure what to think about it. i mean, who hasn’t heard the buzzwords around manifestation and energy, right? but something shifted when i saw how differently they were showing up in their lives. one of them started attracting opportunities they’d been waiting on for years, and another found the courage to start their own business. honestly, it’s like they were more in tune with what they really wanted and just started pulling those things into their lives. it’s subtle but real. i’m not saying it’s magic, but there’s definitely something to how your mindset can shift after reading it. if you’re trying to change the energy around you, maybe give it a try. not that it’s for everyone, but it really resonated with them.

As a person who tried and stopped play PoE on, like, level 20 or 25 two years ago: Quinn's video is very good for the people who aren't overwhelmed in the first ten minutes talking about afflixes, principles of how gear in general works in PoE, what this "maps" and "checkpoints" means and so on. This kind of stuff. I can get it through my limited D3 experience, but in the end it's just not my genre. For people who, like, saw Diablo III in the store and brought, say, Starcraft II or new bag instead, and just want to get what's the fuss (and less interested in situation because it's some gamer controversy that mostly is meaningful only for people on gaming scene, but more because it's Elon Musk-Tesla-Starlink-SpaceX-newdepartmentofUSgovernment-letschangeEuropeangovernmentsaswell), Phil's reiteration is better, because there is less distracting details that doesn't really add to people who aren't in the dance. And some details I personally missed before Phil's video. For example, I didn't understood why it's such a big deal about "Elon's maps" tab in the chest, until I got that chest has "Elon's Maps" tab, and two "Maps" tabs. Again, I don't know shit about PoE storage conventions or stash tab system, but it _does_ seem that "Elon's maps" are for showcase of overbusted character, and "Maps" are for, like, grinding concert waystones which can be less optimized for this superpowered build.

the leveling ramp up is similar to that of Diablo 2, which is nice, it might take more time. but in D2, you can get lvl 85 fairly easily, but then 90-99 is substantially longer, almost as much time as getting to 85 again multiple times.

I once saw a upload of Dune (1984), many years ago, that was hilarious, the auto-generated captions are much better now. It wasn't just wrong, it looked it was some dialogue of a porn comedy. One of the dialogues was supposed to be "[Our power to fold space] is in the spice, without us your empire would be lost, on isolated scattered planets, you [would be lost]" and the auto-generated captions said: "Is in the spice because on my wood sauce and I think it celebrates you". I have several examples of screenshots, of that dialogue alone, which are both hilarious and nonsensical.

You don't need to be an expert gamer; the majority of gamers who have been playing for years understand how habitual optimization works within games. You develop habits for looting, carrying an optimal number of items in your inventory, and knowing exactly what you're doing after the hours it takes to reach something like level 97. It's disrespectful to the majority of gamers who understand how gaming actually works because this principle applies universally, whether it's PoE2 or any other game with far less complexity.
