I think part of being able to pull off the orange is because you went for a monochromatic look so it looks cohesive! But I love the eye look you did, also idk if you watch Amanda Z but she has a similar skin tone to you and she also did a review of the new Faded Clementine palette and it looked gorgeous on her as well, so I think the eyeshadow palette is versatile for a wide range of skin tones

I love how fire-y this look came out! I kinda wish you had pulled the blush up and back on the cheeks a little more so it almost blends into the eyeshadow and stayed a little away from the center of your face. It might be a bit more dramatic but I have a feeling it would look really cool on your face with this type of eye look

It's like watching myself put on orange lipstick. Once you started I just instinctively went "oh noooo...." That second layer of the rose is a great way to make a less then flattering lipstick work! I'm going to have to try that on an overly orange leaning coral lipstick I bought and despise on me.

I hear the same criticism about Wayne's lip range. HARDCORE. I have the only non-pink nude and it reads very peach. Those colors aren't nude at all for many skintones nor are they flattering for many skintones. Which is odd because his brick red liner could have transitioned into a very wearable red nude that would have expanded the range. And same with Hibiscus, that could have been the basis for a bit of a brown nude. It's a chic collection, but it is so white girl. For me, it's a matter of taste, but for many, it's a matter of unwearable colors. I think if anyone wants a study in how to do a big range of nudes, it's Natasha Denona's, but then many indie brands have smaller brown/orange ranges.

I’m using the Devine skies palette while watching this and I’m LOVING the shimmer shades. I have never felt comfortable wearing them but I do now, now that I have this palette! I love the faded clementine blush! It is super easy to use it lightly!! Orange blush looks good on my skin tone 💛 I want this clementine one just because it’s so pretty! Idk if it will work well on my skin but it’s so beautiful 💛

I have medium olive (mostly neutral) skin tone. I don’t care for straight up orange and yellow on me at all. Those colors somehow make me look sallow and not particularly healthy. I’m older too, so bright anything is not a look I like on myself ever. In the end, I buy lots of foundations and eyeshadows because I’m always looking for what’s “just right.” I think this look is dramatic and rich on you. Beautiful!

I am almost as fair as you (tinge darker with the help of green color correcting self tan drops) but I have blue eyes and totally different undertones and I can tell from the swatches that this is a far better match for me than the original divine skies palette (which is why I don't own it, or any of the 85,000 pillow talk products). Faded Clementine is one of my favorite powder blushes and infinite lip cloud shades. If I could do most of my face in orange, it would be flattering.

They are known as the Volunteers bc we are the Volunteer State as reference to East TN voluntarily joining the Union to fight in the Civil War. That being said, there's a lot of orange makeup going on in my hometown. I forget people don't typically wear that much orange lol.

Getting serious beach vibes from your hair! I’d love a video about undertones from an art perspective, I think we’re all looking for new takes on the same stuff. (Are my undertones warm? Do I still get sallow hella fast? W/e I’ll just make my eyes look huge). I’m going to keep putting it out in the universe that I hope Em does a Venetian Rose line expansion next. Magic Hour was already warm and Clementine is even more so. If I have one qualm about the line it’s that it all skews very warm.

Ohhhh, if I wasn't trying to be good I would get this to work with my ColourPop peach pallet. And I'm trying to be good because I found my Dior Hypnotic Poison perfume and may have gotten the big bottle. 😂 I can't figure out if they are trying to discontinue the perfume by making it impossible to find, as well as tripling the price, or if Dior is just stupid. I suspect the first, as every perfume, foundation and jean that I love gets discontinued. Just call me Samantha Ravendhal.
