Love your videos! The in depth colour chats are great 👌 But, I have a problem...I'm arty... I paint... I've done a photography degree... I understand colour, light etc etc But I STILL can't figure out whether I'm high/low contrast and cool/warm undertones 🤦🏼‍♀️ I swear that I'm different on different days... Sometimes I see cool icey pink in my skin, other days I'm pale but sallow... Sometimes my lips disappear, sometimes they're really quite a deep mauve (compared to my whiiiite face) Sometimes my hair and brows look the same colour as my skin and I look like a beige egg ... Sometimes they don't 🤷🏼‍♀️ Who am iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii?

THlS. Almost everyone I've talked to about health struggles, including doctors, just brush it off and blame me DESPITE my healthy lifestyle and lack of the usual risk factors. I just didnt try as hard as they did because in their experience, they feel great. They may not always realize it, but it's extremely defeating and demeaning to someone who has done so much research, kept an open mind and tried SO many things. Extreme fatigue has affected my quality of life immensely and made it hard to do basic necessary things let alone things i enjoy. No one has any clue how much effort the smallest things take. I likely have to put in SO much more effort than the person criticizing me for not waking up for a 5am run like they did. As much as it sucks im happy ive experience this so im not out there throwing my simple medical solutions in other peoples faces. It would change the world if more people could understand and stop blaming people trying to find answers. ❤

I noticed the saturation issue with nail polish. Too bright abd my fingers look grey and dirty... when they're not

But You put in wayyyyyy more contour and makeup than any french woman would basically. Even building so much foundation and layers if shades is actually so missing thr point of a french look. And they dont automatically all habe high contrast naturally. I think in general in france people pay a lot of attention to skincare, use minimum foundation and emphasise eyes and lips. Thats that.

I’m not sure what I am. I’m on the fairer side, my natural hair is a mix of dark blonde/ light brown with a bit of red undertones. I try to dye my hair close to my natural color. I dye my hair to cover the gray hairs. I’m 47. My profile picture was taken last year during a company holiday party. Edited :typos

I've only been on a makeup journey for a year, and I've learned a TON from your channel. Not only from your tips, tricks and know-how, but believe it or not, as a beginner with no one in my personal life to learn from (my younger sister does not stray too much from her look), I've found some of the tricks to be intuitive, and then I hear the explanation as to why in one of your videos! I am interested in your contrast theory with someone that has truly very little contrast, fair with blonde hair. In that yes it doesn't take much to see color on said type of person but for people with those natural values often do do ok with black

I have been using a yellowy blush from a blush trio for a year now, because I love the warmth that it adds to my cheeks. Never alone, but a gorgeous add in.

Im high contrast (light medium warm olive and black hair and dark eyes) and I’ve always wondered why the no makeup makeup looks terrible on me. It’s only when I started figuring out this type of stuff that I realized why! I need contrast.

I too find myself dreading the short dark days and it happens so rapidly. Literally since August 12 we’ve lost more than 2 hours of daylight at last day of September. Last two winters we had the coldest temps in the 20 plus years since building or home in rural PNW.

I love these color videos! I am over 60 and have lost contrast. When I put makeup on, I add contrast back in. I hope it helps make me more healthy and youthful looking.
