I’d say, look at the Root Cause Protocol and if you’re not perimenopausal. On RCP, there’s a bunch of crap you need to stop comsuming, then start adrenal coctails (e.g. from Jigsaw Health) and magnesium flakes/lotion. That’s only the beginning if you want to stop being exhausted like me ;)

Thanks! That was interesting. I came to a more or less similar conclusion by just manually experimenting. Darker mauves and maroons just look so much better on my lips than actual true reds and brighter, more orange ish lipsticks 😊

I have translucent skin I do not tan. My undertone is blue(my veins are very blue) if I scratch my skin or go in the sun my skin turns red, it flushes. I can not wear yellow, green or orange at all🤮 I look like I'm dieing or I have liver failure. Does anyone know a brand that has blue(grey) foundation that has no yellow. A hit of red is fine. Anytime I fine one that looks blue it's to pale.

I completely understand what you are saying…..firstly I have cancer. I tell people I use all of myself to deal with cancer and I have very little else left to deal with anything else. The little things send me into a tailspin and yet on the surface I deal with cancer like a champ. But…..I need to run the sweeper, drive in the dark, etc….. those seemly less important things (everyday things) put my brain into over stimulation and panic. It sounds exactly what you are saying….just different….if that makes sense. Glad I’m not alone in these feelings. Love the vid!!! Thank you🫶🏻

Thank you SO much for this video and your others on contrast. I have a relatively fair olive skin tone, which I've always known. But now, because of you, I understand that I'm very high contrast. My hair and eyebrows are so dark brown, they're almost black. I have thick dark eyelashes, and my natural lip color is a quite deep pinkish red hue compared to my skin. Every lip color described as "true red" seems to go orange on me. I finally tried a lip color that claimed to be a "raspberry" where the swatches look totally magenta. Wouldn't you know it!? It turned red on me. It looks nothing like the color in the applicator. I'm floored! I can not tell you how much money I've spent on various lip colors over the years. At 48 years old, I've finally found my perfect red lip! Thank you! ❣️

I was a winter my whole life, dark glasses, dark jewel tone clothes. Now I’m grayish hair with disappearing eyebrows so I got some frames that were lighter and they look better. I can’t decide what color clothes look good at all now! So I just wear the colors I like.

GIRL - Pluto is finallyyyyy moving out of Capricorn where it's been since 2008. November 19th brings about a HUGE celestial shift for us cardinal signs - Aries, Cancer, Capricorn and Libra - breaking this intense 16-year cycle. As Pluto moves into Aquarius, we'll be stepping into a new era of transformation, truth and equality. We can breathe a sigh of relief after 16 dang years!

Hi, a bit of science from a nutritional therapist. 😊 Adrenal fatigue is related to long term over production of stress hormones (cortisol and adrenaline). I’ve had it. It’s terrible, and it takes a long time to recover from. Cortisol helps regulate our circadian rhythm along with many things. So imagine feeling completely depleted of energy (because cortisol gives us energy) but unable to sleep (because cortisol helps regulate circadian rhythm). Dopamine is produced in the brain (and also the gut). It’s primarily a neurotransmitter in the brain whereas adrenaline and cortisol are more primarily hormones within the body (vascular dilation, increasing blood sugar levels, etc).

"luminous matte concealer"???? 🤣 what does that even mean?! I couldn't find a good color match for me in that one... and it didn't impress me at all. I like the Natasha Denona hi glam one, and this one from Makeup Forever called something velvet concealer... it's kind of a weird formula going on, it's thick, but it covers well and it's a good color match for me.

I heard on another channel that to be on the allure list, the company has to pay to be considered. So if a brand doesn't submit their product because they don't want to pay the fee, they aren't considered. So yeah, it is a tad scammy. It's one of those things that I'm like "yeah ok it was voted best of...", but if a product comes recommended by a trusted friend or youtuber, and it's not on the list, I don't knock it. I've never been a big follower of the allure thing.

So my youngest son (7) was just officially diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. Those two things are so contradictory in so many ways that, as a mom, I'm overwhelmed and overstimulated FOR him. The Autistic side craves routine and predicatability while the ADHD side is impulsive and unfocused, yet hyperfocuses on his interests so hard that pulling him out can be a struggle. And here I am, the mom who deals with anxiety and mild SAD, trying to help this small human navigate his normal that constantly contradicts itself. And then there's my oldest who is also Autistic, but the past 45 days has has two ear infections, pneumonia, secondary viral conjunctivitis, three different antibiotics and prescription eye drops...and he also, at almost 10-years-old, has not figured out how to blow his nose so he's constantly sniffing and driving me slowly insane. I want to cancel the holidays (ew, people) and hibernate until spring.

That lipstick launch looked amazing. It was so cool to see so many people whose videos I watch there too. I met Lisa once at a pop-up shop launch, and we all had a chance to exchange a few words and get our picture taken with her. I treasure that photo. It's really good to see you using some Vieve products. I especially love the eye wands and sunset blush balm. I also have a face palette that I think is discontinued, but it is the best colour combo for me - a neutral pink and a peach blush, bronzer, and highlighter. I always take it travelling with me, as I do the eye wands. Must try more of the products, and I will look forward to your full face of Vieve video.

Some autumns or maybe autumn’s in general am be neutral leaning warm. I think you’re neutral slightly warm. So you could be an autumn that lies between autumn and summer. Which is why muted cool tones suit you as well. I think soft autumn is the autumn between autumn and summer. You can wear shades from both palettes. Your observations are spot on . It’s confusing you because of the muted summer colors also looking good

FINALLY!! I have spent 20 of my last 40 years diagnosing why color disappears on me. I have red hair, fair skin with freckles, and black eyes-not dark brown they cast a reflection. I have applied my makeup to my very low contrast Indian bff (black hair, dark skin, brown/black eyes) and she looked stunning in my makeup and the same crap I use on myself countless times always looked muddy/gray regardless of color, product, consistency. I thought my only option was fake tanner and apparently subconsciously trying to lessen the contrast. And you are correct about lining the eyes it drastically reduces the “criminally insane” appearance. People are talking to me in public again 😂😂

Hi. Honestly, I was intrigued by your topic of 'Contrast'. The concept of contrast with hair, skin, makeup, and clothing has suddenly just sparked a new curiosity or thirst for knowledge on how it can and will relate and apply to me personally. I appreciate the way you encourage and nurture a sense of adventure and exploration in choosing different colors and different application techniques. Your knowledge and skills as a talented painter translates perfectly with your makeup artistry. You demonstrated how the seen color can differ from the perceived color. 👍🫶👌Thank you.

Wow. The overwhelming difference in brand direction from Patrick Ta and Lisa Eldridge is palpable in this video. We've seen Patrick come out with an incredible idea and formula with his blush duo but then rush other unfinished ideas to get to production and sales. BUT THEN, you have Lisa waiting until she had literal perfection in hand to release out into the world. I'm not saying I'll never buy another Patrick Ta product, but gosh darn it, I don't have the same trust that I have in giving Lisa my hard-earned money for quality products that I KNOW she stands behind.
