To remove the white cast, cosmetic grade iron oxide pigments is combine with the formula to offset the cast of zinc and titanium colour. Other mineral sunscreens that do not have white cast without the tint (mineral tint) are either makeup like tinted moisturizer or nano zinc and titanium oxide which are absorbed into the skin. It’s not healthy to absorb these minerals topically and can cause adverse health issues and ever lung damage. Stick to non nano. I’m not a chemist but you could buy the cosmetic grade iron oxide hello and red and put a dash in when you need it. I’m not a chemist so I wouldnt recommend to make an entire batch at once as I’ve no idea how stable it remains over time so just as adding in as you go is probably a safer approach Darphin has to make my absolute favourite no white cast mineral sunscreen. It’s part of the intral line. The tint is universally transparent. It’s light weight, non drying and its texture is non altering to your skin. So no dry no shiny just what ever texture your skin is before your application is what you get. It’s rather expensive however

Do you have a ecommendation for a good bronzer that looks natural on fair neutral olive skin tone? Either powder or cream? I am having a really hard time finding a natural bronzer color thats not a contour or orange on me. But the powder goes on patchy bc I’m sooo pale and it’s very pigmented. So I’m wondering if you could find me a dupe that’s more in your wheelhouse as far as ease of application 😂

I have the Patrick Ta eyeshadow in Do You Know Who I Am and it is the best eyeshadow I bought this year. Super sparkly, amazing when the light hits it, no fall out, and lasted hours and hours. Not sure all the colorways were that wonderful, but that one was a big hit.

tbh most of the time when brands enter their flop era it feels like its bc theyre super successful and then business daddy puts pressure on them to come out with more Crap bc they know we'll buy based on the brands reputation. look what happened to melt. its almost as if capitalism is bad for innovation, lol

Texturizes the skin, impossible to have good application with brushes, with hands its fine, underwhelming, the hydrated look disappears after 2 hrs and you’re left with just pearls on your face
