Joy doesn't tolerate change well, and Anxiety even seemed to regret having to box them in, but they are natural enemies. Joy clearly saw nothing wrong with making Riley look goofy, that would give any teen Anxiety. They just need to figure out a way where Joy's upbeat nature meshes with Anxiety's need for structure. Maybe once Riley gets on whatever team she's aiming for (I assume the skills camp is a first step to something bigger) and gets on a practice schedule, she'll have more structure, and once she fits in, she'll be happy.

Also I dont get why theu didnt call Ennui Boredom or something, plus some people may potentially get confused between Ennui and Envy??

Ennui is a much more specific type of feeling then just boredom that's just to ease people into the concept.

Ennui isn't exactly boredom, though it includes that. It's a feeling of can't-be-bothered, and even too-cool-to-be-bothered, life-is-just-too-much-for-me. Probably the movie itself will spell it out better, because there's a reason they had to resort to a French term. The emo visual representation fits.

So for all the non French speakers out here lemke help (being French myself)😜 : Ennuie (translating to boredom) is actually pronounced [EN] (like in "entrepreneur") -[U] (probably the mait problematic sound to make for English speakers cause there no equivalent in the English language. it's not a "oo" it's a "u" which is way lighter and you have to form a clear "o" shape with your mouth - [I] (just they same way you pronounce the letter "E"] So that's "En-nu-ie" ! And not "An-oo-wee" like they pronounce it in the movie 😂

Embarrassment, mostly because I'm curious as to how they're going to deal with his character. With him being sulky, seclusive, and silent, I feel like he might have the most significant demonstration of "show don't tell" from any character in this movie.

I’M SO EXCITED, When I first saw the Trailer Thumbnail, I was like, is this real? I saw this film when I was 6 When the first film came out, and Now I’m 15. So it’s nice to experience this as an actual teenager. Being a teenager sucks, so… yeah. The Animation looks so beautiful. 0:41 Same. I don’t think the new emotions are the villains because the end of the trailer anxiety is haveing problems with control panel so I think they will go find the others and try to find them but then they will learn that haveing new emotions are good.

Honestly..... I don't think anyone will notice the replacements for fear and disgust 😅 And I love Ayo and Maya so excited to see what they will do with the characters. And for the rest, I'm excited to see what they will do. I thought Jasper was a highlight of Cruella and love that we have some diverse accents with Ennui! What's your thoughts??

@@EdizAndBen oh I do 100% agree that the castings are a good choice ESPECIALLY for the new emotions, I fully agree on all those points! Ayo is killing it, Maya I love in literally everything and as your said Jasper was a stand out character in Cruella! My only thing is Tony Hale being fear upsets me as I can only hear Forky and Fear had such a great voice before :( yes it’s not a huge difference but as someone in industry who overanalyses everything I can’t not hear Forky :/

0:53 I feel like TV shows & made for TV movies used to be the place for those type of stories (i.e. The Thirteenth Year) so I hope this is received well by that age demographic at the very least. Still super conflicted on Inside Out 2... honestly new emotions doesn't feel like the way it should be going considering the first film showed us adults and even animals headquarters and it was all the same five emotions. Also I still have no idea what it is but I just do not feel that the new character designs fit!

What are you talking about?! Anger and Fear are the only ones of the original emotions that don't look too human, and I feel like that's what gives the filmmakers a way to distinguish each design from each other.

When i watched the first movie in theatres i don’t think i was a teenager when this came out I was probably like 10 or 11 or possible when this came out originally, so I wasn’t a teenager yet when the first movie came out, I remember when I watched the movie I was like maybe 14 or 15 at the time so I already surpassed being 13 I was still a teenager by the time the movie came out then and now the sequel to Inside Out I’ve already gone pass through all my teenager years, like thoses are behind me and now I am 22. So I don’t think all the demographic was as young as it use to be and I don’t think people are still teenagers then they’ve kind of grown up from this movie and the maturity of us are a older now, when the first movie was release, so i don’t think they’re going to be a lot of teenagers. So I don’t think it’s’ going to follow the generation or my generation that is now, but probably the newer generations though a 100%.
