Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont have some of the greenest trails in the United States. On this adventure, we head up the east coast into Canada, crossing one of the most remote border crossings from Maine into Quebec.

It seems like 95% of the overland videos I watch take place in the desert, which isn't really interesting to me. New England is beautiful. Thank for showing it to me.

Haha I learned that lesson heading to Big Bend national park. Always carry extra gas even if you think you won't need it. I hypermiled behind semi trucks and pulled into the station on fumes, middle of the night with no cell service.

Thanks for making this vid it let me know not to waist the time going up there. there were not much as far as great views when you were driving it seemed like you were down in and surrounded by brush most the time. then when you did get to a few of spots you were accosted by every nasty insect nature had to offer. and when you can see it on camera that bad you know it's really bad in person. your wife looked really bored and totally not interested at all the only time you saw any kind of excitement out of her was when she saw that gross food, Maby that should be a warning of what is to come from her. sometimes traveling is best with a friend that thinks what you do as a adventure not as she described it at one point as being in prison, just because you think you love some one does not mean they are worth your time. life goes fast make sure it enjoyable not just tolerable.

Instead of New England Overland, this should have been New England Tarmac. A Honda CRV would have probably done 99% of this with 2x the gas mileage.
@RevereOverland
@RevereOverland 4 жыл бұрын
A Honda CRV could have done all of it. The only thing it would need is decent tires to deal with the rough roads - you can guarantee a flat if you go to the North Maine Woods with street tires.

@@RevereOverland That's that problem I feel with East Coast overland (I lived in Maryland for years). You either have really hard trails or some really easy stuff. Out west you have trails and tracks across the entire spectrum of remoteness and difficulty.
@RevereOverland
@RevereOverland 4 жыл бұрын
I agree. Here in Kentucky we have a great range of trails. I will say that in making this video I drove more miles on unpaved roads than I did in my Expedition Utah video. The difference is that a lot of it looks really similar in the forest, so it doesn't come across as hundreds of miles. In Utah the scenery changes over every hill.

@@bobbyexpeditiongradejohnso5624 one of the reasons I hate living in New England. It's beautiful here, but it seems like if you want to off-road you either need a full on trail rig, or you're just on dirt roads you could do in an Outback. I have a 4Runner just like Revere's, and I don't even try to go out with the Jeep clubs, they mostly do hardcore stuff that will completely destroy this thing.
