Everyone disparaging Maye and gassing Milton is CRAZY. Maye might pan out, he might not….but we here in New England need to recognize the late-round diamond at QB was lightning that’s almost certainly not going to strike here again. If Brady happens again, that strike is happening right now in San Francisco with Purdy, and Purdy ain’t Brady. Maye is an excellent but risky prospect, but I don’t think all these armchair scouts are doing much more than parroting whatever Negative Nancy in the media who doesn’t like Maye. You know you have no idea about QB mechanics and footwork and shoulder hitches or whatever else you stole from some talking head, just lmfao. You’re all frauds. Milton has a big arm. He also played big-time SEC football. He’s not under the radar at Iowa State or North Dakota, he played at Tennessee. I have nothing against the guy, but I don’t know why you think he just slipped in the draft and the Pats got a steal. I’ll take the flyer on him, but he was never in the conversation of even SECOND tier QBs. You’re all just seeing the most apparent thing, which is a big arm, quite a spectacle, but not necessarily indicative of a bright NFL future. Drake “maye” (hey-ooooo lmao) work out or not, but I strongly doubt we’ll be saying “Man, Drake busted, but thank god we took perennial Pro Bowler Bazooka Joe Milton in the 6th round.” Forget everything you know about the Brady story, that’s not how we’re going to arrive at the next franchise QB, that’s fantasyland stuff

You guys never watched Milton not once but judge him off other ppl assessment and sound dumb doing it!!! SEC is a way better conference than the ACC with better players and better defense style coach’s and Milton went 8-4 so doesn’t matter what he did fore then it’s how he’s gonna perform during ota’s and training camp how much information he can process and transfer that to the field the only way he don’t make it to the field is by Kraft or his son cause they don’t wanna look like dumb ppl cause they drafted the wrong guy AGAIN!!!

@@snsmusicpageWhat was Mac Jones’ record in the SEC again? Look, this is meant as no disrespect to Milton. I hope they both pan out, that would be a great problem to have. If he ends up better than Maye, no problem, may the best man win the job. I’m just saying if you look at the Top 5-10 QBs in the League, it’s not just SEC guys, in fact it’s mostly not. I’ll give you Joe Burrow. Matt Stafford is on the 18th hole, but he’s still very good. But Mahomes…Big 12. Lamar Jackson, ACC. Josh Allen, Mountain West. Aaron Rodgers, Pac-10. Justin Herbert, Pac-10. Jalen Hurts gets half-credit but made his name in the Big 12. CJ Stroud looks good, he’s Big 10. I like Tua but I think he’s getting carried by an elite receiving corps, the jury was kind of out on him til they got Hill and Waddle. I won’t list every single guy, but the point is not every good QB is out of the SEC, most AREN’T. Peyton was from Tennessee but so was Tee Martin or Heath Schuler. It just doesn’t work like that. But best of luck to Milton, I’ll come back and eat my words with no hot sauce if he’s the guy. I just see a better overall prospect in Maye, personally. He carried a TERRIBLE North Carolina team this past season, so I’ll be interested to see how he does with NFL linemen and WRs. That said….I don’t know if that’s what the Pats have just yet😂

If Joe Milton ends up Starting over Drake Maye this regular season.. I will buy all the Milton fans tickets to the game. But let's stop the nonsense.. Joe Milton is likely going to start the season on the Practice squad or as QB3 when the Patriots trade Zappe. The reality is Joe Milton was drafted to replicate Josh Allen on the scout team and get paid well for it. The odds of him developing into a starting level QB at this point is extremely low. It's all on Joe Milton.. He made it this far.. Is he willing to do all the work?

Everyone looks slow, the only thing I noticed is each ball thrown by Maye and Milton have ZIP, and I think zappe doesn't have that zip..

using the same cognitive drills we see at the tactical range. Foot work with color coded target callouts on the throw. You get to see improved foot awareness and mental process of hitting the proper target.

Not really. Maye can throw it 80 yards as well. Maye was considered the highest upside in the draft.

I get what you guys see in Daniels that’s makes everyone so of awww. The dude is the only player is football history that has a highlight tape of him getting hit sticked/body slammed and picked up Off his feet. I’ve never seen another player in my life of playing and watching like that. The dude is already is 24 and didn’t explode until his last yr in college. The only thing I’ve giving him props for was that it was in the SEC. But i think his ceiling is lower than ppl wanna admit. Higher floor sure. But he’s not ready turn into Lamar or anything like that. I just hope he last with the way he takes hit. And everyone acts like that’s just something he’s gonna stop doing because they says so😂😂 clearly alot yall ain’t played football with a guy that unaware when running.

ALL QBs with mobility takes big hits from time to time 🤷🏽‍♂️ problem is yall keep pointing out like 7 plays out of 1,000 he was hit as a (RUNNER)..nobody yet to show me him getting blown up in the (POCKET) which actually matters more in the nfl..and 1 more thing JD works his ass off thats why he grinded them 5 years in college he actually took the time to get better and he already knows the playbook its really no debate 🫰🏾

What offense did they run? How was Joe progressing through his reads? Do you think he processes well? 24... what happened? He was at Michigan? Come on man!! Stop the BS.. They both have a lot to work on but Drake can get through his reads and processes the game far better than Joe. He's 21.. relax man. You sound foolish because your wrong. Nobody wants to see Joe Milton fail but he's a practice squad player at this point in his career competing for QB3. Are you Joe's friend or something?

To pick a guy #3 overall and still have to teach him something so basic and fundamental as footwork is mind blowing. He looks so slow and clumsy doing the drills. I really hope it works out for him but if it doesn't this can set the franchise back 2-3 years.

Hitting the bag is not uncommon i promise. That’s why they’re working on the drill. But he’ll hit the bag again even if he manages to get some kind of HOF footwork. He’ll hit the bags again at some pt. It’ll just be alot more days when he don’t
