I LOVE eye swatches. I would suggest applying with a brush to show that application, and then building with a finger to show us a built up color. I get that's even more work, but I do love eye swatches over arm/hand swatches

This may be my second Ensley Reign palette. It reminds me of a darker version of a classic Urban Decay book of shadows style palette I had (which was also Alice in Wonderland, funnily enough) and the sparkly shades are ridiculously pretty 😍

I like the eye swatches but totally get it if you dont always do it. That's intense work for the lids. I do LOVE the hand swatches with different mate bases tho. If I had to pick one over the other I'd say hand swatches with different bases all day. I know u could do more options without overworking the skin. Love the work u put in this vid ❤

I was hoping someone would put the shimmers on top of the mattes in that Oden's eye palette as well. Because a lot of those shimmers was so light that it didn't show how beautiful they could be! I think that the blush duo the way she explained it since that blush is so pigmented it'll work for dark skin and if your lighter skin then you're supposed to mix and the quote bronzer shade to make the blush lighter

It really depends on how the brand labels them. For example, About Face has what they call holographic shadows but they are multichromes, not holographic at all. Holochrome is usually a multichrome with holographic sparkle where as a holographic shadow would not have the multichrome element.

I don’t really care about eye swatches (and I also feel so bad for the skin since you have to keep washing it off). I prefer more looks/tutorials in a video and comparing the new palette to what’s already out there or within the brand. I loved the hand swatch to show how you can utilize transparent based chromes with mattes underneath to change the look though!

Thank you for the video but i have to say I dont care for the live swatches. I appreciate the idea but I've lost track of the number of times I've heard someone say it swatched great but the real indicator is how it performs. We got 5 minutes for two eye looks in a 32 minute video. While its nice to see larger swatches of the colors I value seeing how they perform with the other shadows more. Just my two cents. Love your videos usually though, even if I have no interest in the product I always watch because you bring a smile to my face!
