Order placed...hope there's some left. when you were looking for flake for the smoke I was suggesting purple, rather loudly. That disco flake was I believe exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, your timing was perfect
@baitchuckin Жыл бұрын
Good call! Yeah the Disco Violet from MF and the Sparkle Violet from Lureworks is that cool purple they use in the Yamamoto Electric Shad color. Only issue, is if you go much above 330 F Degrees, it will degrade and break down the glitter. You really should vacuum the plastic, have it ready, and then add the glitter and shoot immediately. It's tricky to work with, but it yields some amazing results for sure!!!

That olive oil is the one!! My order has been placed. I think the smoke can potentially be a sleeper in the collection. It's going to be a great base for color shifts...
@baitchuckin Жыл бұрын
Yes I agree the Olive Oil is AMAZING! I also agree, the Transparent Smoke is going to be an amazing BACKER color for color shift, also for darkening other colors. A lot of times, even one drop of black darkens a color too much, this will be a nice subtle way to creep up on the exact color you want.
@yaboyrd Жыл бұрын
@Baitchuckin Maybe, you can do a video on the different ways this color or other base colors could be utilized. I'm brand new to this and think it could be helpful. Also, looking forward to seeing what you come up with using color/hyper-shifts. Appreciate the videos and responses!!

Another great video you are turning into my most anticipated bait making channel. Try Mule fishing for some small jigs that would work on the smaller ones. Also I tried your morning dawn yesterday but I may not of got it mixed enough and it turned out a pastel purple with 9 drops to a half cup.
@baitchuckin Жыл бұрын
HA!! Thank You for the very kind words!!! OK I'll look into those jigs, I need to find something to fish these little things!!! For the Violet Grape, shake it extremely well, all the good stuff is at the bottom. I like to flip the bottle over and more sure I can see light pass through to make sure I have it all off the bottom. ALSO, a pro tip, the openings on those Yorkers is pretty small, don't be afraid to take a tooth pick or an ice pick, and widen that opening in the spout a bit. It will help the pigments to pass through them. A push pin will work great as well.

Great job and congrats on the 1k..!! Those new colors are awesome! That nightmare blue would be killer in just about anything for bass especially. That olive oil is same way. I don't think it would matter what you shoot it in, they are gonna be a winner. Now, that smoke.. 😍.. ❤️.. Here in Illinois one of my favorite techniques is cane pole with dropshot rig. Use the VMC hooks that have the wire through the eye allowing hook to spin in any direction, sorry I can't remember the name. Our boat ramp had bunch of telephone poles for docking the boats and we would just jig around the pole and catch crappie feeding. That color would be almost perfect for matching the hatch. That little 1.2 rigged this way I think would be unreal. Just subscribed last week and love your videos..! Keep up the good work!!
@baitchuckin Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words!! Yes I agree the Blue Nightmare and Olive Oil are great Bass Colors, that Smoke is an amazing shad / match the hatch color. I like it because it allows you to use Black / smoke and really dial it in, you don't have to worry about overdoing it, because you can get saturated pretty quickly mixing in plain black pigment. Thanks for being a new sub!! Lots of content on the way!!

I put on the shelf never ordered anymore but love the color you came up with
@baitchuckin Жыл бұрын
Well that's a bummer to hear. Definitely try giving MF a phone call and leave a message, or shoot them an email. Even though they are moving they are returning calls and messages. They are really good about replacing the bottles of they came out wrong. Have you tried going lighter in the drops? I'm wondering if he maybe went a little more concentrated then the tester bottle I have. Olive oil is definitely a yellowish brown, but it looks just like olive oil, definitely on the translucent yellowish side. but a dark yellow.

Again it’s going to depend on how many bubbles are in it. I bring mine up to -30lb pressure then wait until the bubbling slows way down. Sometimes it takes a few min and sometimes it’s quick. They won’t go away completely, depends on how much moisture is in there. 🤷🏻♂️
