Yeah, those games look nice and all, but they weren't very creative with the names. "Viking City Builder" is another example. It's like calling Age of Empires "medieval fighting and base building game"

@@WorldWarSelection rts piss take clearly just a bunch of gimmicky mechanics not thought out like combat that doesnt use shields during an era where shieldwall was literally the thing to do in battle... Archers that wear full metal chest plates in an era where archers most often had leather on and the archer cost no iron to build either I guess their chest plates are free, resources are seemingly never scarce so winter is meaningless this has nothing to do with survival city builder like it claims to be... Raptor cake walked through multiple winters like it was nothing but just a change in scenery. Units stack on top of each other in combat like its a 2004 rts in all honesty this is not worth more than $15-20 anything else is a rip off

Vikings often used bog Iron in their weapons. The extra materials in it make weapons more resistant to rusting.

This game looks pretty fun, obvious improvements needed on combat, fires in the rain and player model variation but it looks nice! combat to me right now just looks a little like swinging at the air until health goes down, would be nice for it to be more indepth and gory etc as you'd expect vikings to be. instead of instantly getting the materials of a village it would be nice to be able to take it back home to bank it.

Bog Iron comes from bogs or swampy areas it is know to be difficult as the yield is very low for iron and the process is labor intensive to extract

Hmm how come there is four games now looking kinda the same? This, Viking city builder, and orc warchief city builder and mannorlord in a way. They all seem to use similar engine or something.
