Lived in the Caribbean for 30 years before returning to the UK. Always cleaned barefoot, cause of the heat (yeah...no air con). My feet were in the best condition ever. Foot muscles and tendons get lazy in shoes..,as I'm learning now! LOL. I feel for you with the sneezing! Used to be the bane of my life. Sugarcane arrows in December were the worst! That is my salvation! I’m a BIG TIME procrastinator,but HATE to see papers all over the place. So inside the armoire,I have trays and magazine boxes. My husband and I purposely chose two different Medicare companies (Because they send mail EVERYDAY!)😵‍💫Then one for receipts,sale flyers,coupons,and of course,”Time will tell”. Then front and center, “BILLS TO PAY” and “Paid Bills”,etc,etc, There’s room to hide a trash can and shredder between the wall and the armoire,so everyday I go through the mail and simply chuck the papers into their broad categories,knowing that I would only need to go through one tray to find something. This has been working flawlessly for months now!🙌🏻 (A PERFECT solution would be to drill a hole in the back of the armoire,install a large sliding tray on the bottom and line up three trash cans for trash,recycle and shredding! Mine isn’t wide enough for that but I’m giddy with excitement just thinking about it!) 🤭🤪

Lol I'm the total opposite with shoes, I can't stand the sensation of dirt under my feet so at minimum I'm wearing socks when cleaning. I also hate top sheets but I hate taking off and putting on the duvet cover more, so I've had to surrender to the way of the top sheet... I miss being able to burrito myself though :( I always have so many open tabs (no joke, currently have 194 open on my phone 😬) and joke that it's a physical representation of my brain. So many open tabs that I can't think straight or focus on anything properly. Very satisfying when I'm able to close one though. 💜💜

After the holly-daze try to get a sponsorship for Homeaglow, and have a team come in and do a full deep clean. Your allergies will thank you. 3. That is a really lovely flooring you have. I have a rental with really old wood floors that I am just ignoring now. The stain is spotchy and it seems that the wood is dried out. It needs to be rehabbed big time. In the meanwhile? I am at a lose as to what to do besides sweep, vac, damp mop. If you take Zyrtec every night before bed it might really help. When histamine builds up in your body it causes body aches, joint aches and even high heart rate. It sounds crazy but even certain foods increase histamine in your body. It might be worth thinking about. 😊

I match up to everything you say about cleaning your life. I just can't wear tennis shoes inside either. My feet get really hot, and I hate hot feet! I procrastinate on. things, like re-filling the toilet paper basket also. I also wish I could change my duvet that fast! That would be awesome! We have the same kind of bed as you and I hated that a regular king size comforter was just too small. I ordered an over size king comforter and duvet cover off of Amazon. I think it's 120" by 98" and it fits much better. Another great, entertaining video! I hope your allergies get better quick!

Glitter/flocked tree: Is there any kind of spray on sealant that could help? I know we used to use hairspray on small projects, but I'm thinking of something like a clear coat sold at the paint dept in a hardware store. I know you'd have to work around the lights but for those without lights that might be a good solution, spray it on when you have time to take tree outside, of course.

Re: Allergy meds, I think you're thinking about Afrin not Flonase regarding addiction/habitual use with declining effectiveness. Flonase doesn't carry over from day to day, it helps immensely for daily sinus allergen situation. Zyrtec may be a good fit for you, I also have year round allergens like dust mites and seasonal ones like trees, weeds, grass. I use zyrtec daily and only have a few times a year when it is a complete fail. Definitely get tested so you can anticipate. Also, consider getting an air purifier for the room you are in, esp during winter months when windows don't get opened regularly. Just some unsolicited information from a stranger on the internet...

In my culture, we have seperate blankets, pillows and sometimes even mattresses in our shared beds. Does not inhibit the cuddles, but we all get to be lil night sleep divas and I swear it's a relationship savior. Oh, and you get to regulate your own temperature , and if it does get too cold, you just slip your feet under your partners blanket 🙂‍↔️

The nasal spray rebound swelling thing is with Afrin, not Flonase. Flonase is really great except for the weird ass taste as it drips down the back of your throat, but you get used to it. -Fellow allergy sufferer from Allergy Town, USA
