I was questioned things like this very early in my life and my family background is Christian. But I questioned all their beliefs and why. As a child I frustrated our pastor and horrified my parents and grandparents. I was not able to look at other religious beliefs, things changed for me when I had a near death experience from an operation that went terribly wrong when I was 6 years old and I came back with more questions then answers. Things changed for me as consciousness became something that has been so helpful. I treat people, animals the planet as I would want to be treated, with love kindness and respect as the universe would want me to do. 😊

He chose to send His son, which was born of a virgin to die in our place and be resurrected to prove life is more than the physical. This was to also prove that He is the almighty and that he loves us dearly. I don't know a better way someone can show love than self sacrifice.

I believe in my mother that pass over too. A few days after she pass and in a sleep like state but i know everything going on when she came and tell me how to share her jewels. 🙏💝🙏 My nervous system calmed down after watching this 😁. since last week, I have been practising non attachment; neighbour's fence panel down, until end of June = could not do my tai chi/yoga without 3 year olds from 2 gardens hopping into mine. It was only when I let go of the fence panel attachment/privacy, that I found joy and laughter in their energy = after journaling, I realised that my daily affirmations of welcoming joy/laughter/love into my life came true = the thing is, parents are pretty stressed, and welcomed me playing with their little ones= I call them rainbow souls = incredibly advanced and 'knowing' (i am an ex teacher, also with a knowing) =there is a reason why the fence panel is down 🌈🌈🌈

I must say that I first listened to your podcast because of my interest in NDE’s and I found many of your guests presented ideas that were foreign to me but were interesting. As I listened and digested this new information it became more and more reasonable and less far out! I have come to the realization that we are connected to the universe and to all living things including our earth! I had always thought that science was the way to go but now I see it as valuable but we’re only scratching the surface and many people become close minded which hinders their ability to understand or grow their understanding. I do believe that our adventure in life is a preparation for our improvement and understanding of ourselves and each other and reincarnation has become a probability. I too was raised a Catholic but was always questioning dogma. Glad I’m not alone!

The programming of Religions is so deep in those raised in a Church, most particularly in the children raised in the fundamentalist Religions. *"It is a challenge for one not subjected to this to imagine."* It scares some so that they eith go deep into it as adults or escape from it and many refuse to consider any concept that is Religion or Spiritual in nature. I guess because I am happily caught up in materialism I have little chance of reaching enlightenment. I guess i'll save that for when I leave the material world. I grew up super poor and worked too hard for too many years to literally voluntarily making myself poor in the quest. As much as I like nice things I am completely fine with the thought of leaving them. When it comes to my property I consider myself a steward of the property even though it's paid for; I understand someone else will live there when I pass.
