@sooperman126 жыл бұрын
Yup, about what I expected. Dustin does about 10 seconds of thinking that results in a ton of work that his friends have to do to correct his over ambition. The cars end up getting hacked up. I think if he just did a bit of research, he'd find out that he is not the only one who has attempted the modification. And that he can learn from other's mistakes and not waste a lot of his friends' time. If it was just him messing around then fine, but big props to his friends who don't get the glory, or paid, for all their hard work. Those are great bros!
@Kevhoe6 жыл бұрын
Actually getting quick to the modifications and not stretching out boring content like most KZbinrs. I can appreciate that.

@LuisSanchez-io1lw6 жыл бұрын
If you are going to track it anyways then its going to need some camber for turn in response and helping you stay flat in the corners, why not keep the wheels off until you get your suspension setup and alignment handled so you don't end up pulling too much of the fender. Id also go with some stifffff spring rates anyways for an awd track setup/meaty fitment, thats what I have on my own car. Love your channel and your builds!

You should really hop on the forums, all of the issues you have been having could have been avoided with 5 quick mins of research, EVOLUTIONM will be your best friend even if its old school. Good luck with the build, just save yourself a lot of money and problems by simple researching. SOMEONE has always done it before you so take an extra few minuets and save yourself hours of work! Keep it up glad, to see another member joining the evo family.

Note to self dont let Dustin pick wheel sizes for your car Haha.
@jackcollin16956 жыл бұрын
bf3allday he's been in a car enthusiast for long now and had already some few sets of rims but still he doesn't know how to get good specs fitment.smh. yes each car has different size rims and offsets but u can tell and start from the stock specs of how far u can go to get the flush fitment or to go over with knowing you should fender roll/pull,flares or even widebody.just like his passion on fitness/health.he's also an ectomorph which it needs more calorie intake than he burn,thats why instead he build muscles he just getting leaner by losing muscle mass by overtraining without proper diet/food intake.well yes he gain stamina and strenght though but he won't build muscle if he don't understand the proper nutrition for ectomorph body.

@ChristianTaylor36 жыл бұрын
Might be like the SC? I have similar offset wheels but for my SC I had to shave the fenders because rolling messes them up bad. Shaving fenders isn’t too bad though
@MotoRod16 жыл бұрын
Add another one or two degrees negative camber! It will improve track grip as well as help with clearance.

@leonardopiemonti51406 жыл бұрын
DUDEEE! those wheels and tires set up is soo mean! it's coming along nicely, support from italy! :)
@Darkmau156 жыл бұрын
Why not give it some negative camber too? It won't be too much but it'll give less stress to the fenders when rolling/pulling. And it'll still look good with the beefy fitment
@timmcadam66896 жыл бұрын
I’m sure you thought of this but you could also get a little bit of a smaller tire which will help your rubbing but will still have that aggressive fitment.

@Opiumloner6 жыл бұрын

@CorbinHurst886 жыл бұрын
I have this exact fitment on my 8. 225 is the way togo. Rolling the rears is about all you'll need with -2° camber all round. Trying to "pump" the rear archers will more then likely end up like you're front attempt, but usually a much bigger (longer) crease.
@CorbinHurst886 жыл бұрын
Also if you're going to track it, buy some weak fitment and put 265's on for the track.
@YaBoyBaby9166 жыл бұрын
Might wanna think about getting some tires stretched on there and then doing probably the phone book method to get a nice even fender pull. Knowing you you’ll use a baseball bat ruin your fenders then blame big 5 for selling you a broken bat

Try jacking up the car up and slip in a few magazines, lower the car and seen how much the fender pulled out. Add more magazines until you are at the proper fitment. On some occasions I used a phone book. 100% sure it will work.

@NellysaintsSROP6 жыл бұрын
Wheels poke are way better than narrow wheels that are tucked(IN MY OPINION), Your set-up look aggressively nice!
@ALLDAYANTHONY6 жыл бұрын
Unless you have a Pro at rolling front fenders on an evo, it’s basically impossible. The fronts are made of aluminum and are quite flimsy when it comes to rolling. Most people end up just cutting them. The rears should be easer since they are sheet metal. But again you will want a pro because they have pinch wields and if it’s not done right the entire fender will buckle inward
@claudio_wrx6 жыл бұрын
Those would look dope on my WRX, where dis you find them?? BTW they are gram lights 57c6
@lnvfx6 жыл бұрын
IIRC, the Evo VIII's have a problem with the rear quarters buckling when rolling. Just be cautious when rolling them.
