I love how BakkesMod keeps adding stuff that players always wanted in training. To anyone that's not using it, give it a try and experiment with this. You can get a lot better with the features in it. The best feature to me is that you can block a certain part of the goalpost to practice your shot accuracy.

I'll be sure to give that a go only used it once 2 weeks ago cos I don't play pc RL and it was fun. I do think they should add an MMR tracker on consoles though

@@Vyniox The goal blocker is only for custom training I guess. You open the bakkesmod menu and then go to custom training tab and there you can find it.

also a rocket science where you go full halfwaydead on flicks would be amazing. I know you glossed over the difficulties of doing so in a recent vid. But I really think theres a lot more investigating you could do. For example you could use scripts to create a benchmarking system for each car. Optomising each type of flick on each car like a speedrunning TAS to give approximate perfect flicks for each type and how fast they go assuming a set pre-flip velocity. As well as how long setting up these optimal flicks takes with each cars Case studies on how much you can redirect the ball angularly with a flick from set speeds things like that!

Halfwaydead, I love your videos, thank you for the great content. I just realised you are a codeveloper for bakkesmod? I'm moving to pc from ps4, and looking for a hud transparency / colour change mod so i won't burn my expensive oled.. More than happy to pay for such functionality actually. Keep up the great work!

Please please please invert the goal blocker, so you highlight where the ball can not pass through instead of where it can. Almost every one who uses it just wants to make it so that low, centralised balls don't go in. Which take 3 boxes at least which are really hard to make symetrical. Instead of a single box. This is even worse if your trying to simulate a keeper for example, say in the bottom right of the goal and you want to block an arc from the bottom centre to the top right, which are shots that would likely be saved by said keeper. Where you need 10-20 boxes that become a real mess instead of just 4-6.

Does anyone know how to fix random crashes at loading screens or right after you join or leave a game?

I have this issue and apparently pressing buttons on your controller/kbm during the load screen can cause the crash

@@crottisch a mod that lets you switch between preset camera settings instantly. Johnnyboi has even mention this before as a feature that should be added. I'd set higher camera/angle when 1v1ing an opponent. Then quickly switch back. I think it would be good for defense as well.

Yeah, as Adam said, anything that could be considered even a small advantage online is something that the mod tries to not meddle with. That's because Psyonix once said that they are fine with modding unless it gives an advantage online.

Since many of the plugins (including the instant training one) aren't made by people I know to well, it would be best if you can look at the author name on the website and try to find them in the BakkesMod Discord to give them the suggestion. (nicely since they are doing it in their free time)

In the worst case, this lets any website have full control over your PC. To Bakkes: please require someone to type "yes" within the plugininstaller console, and double check that only known URL's can be automatically installed this way.
