In less than 5 days by putting 1 to 2 hours per day in training with this drill i have been able to score more efficiently, fly off walls into balls way better, block a lot of shots i could not before and overall understand how the car operates while off the ground. Quick tips for mid-level players in the air: if you struggle crossing the big skill gap there is between step 2 and step 3, you can also create a custom game with low-gravity, this really gives you a bit more time to figure things out in the air ;) good drilling !
@Kettvnen
@Kettvnen 4 жыл бұрын
No, actually you should do the opposite thing. Make the gravity higher and boost strength 1.5x It's basically similar to weighted baseball training, if you have to do something harder, the easy one will get easier. That's how my powershots, aerial control and air dribbles improved significantly

@EyePromise

wildcardNS yes it reduces the negative impact of blue light. Keep your monitor settings and blue light specs, they may help as well. The research on long term blue light exposure is still in early stages, so frankly there’s a lot we just don’t know yet. We don’t know how much it increases risk of disease later in life, for example, but we do know it contributes to eye strain, sleep issues, headaches, etc. Screen Shield Pro is no magic fix, but it helps fill the gap in our diets and can help with those issues. If you don’t think it’s doing anything, we’ll gladly refund you in 60 days. No questions asked. We love standing up to challenges like this, there’s plenty of science supporting these ingredients and a ton of snake oil imposters out there. Please keep being skeptical! Tweet us at @eyepromisegg and we can talk through anything you’d like. Worst case, ignore us and keep supporting Musty. He’s a badass.

@Kirbylini

So when air rolling around the pillars, do you just hold air roll and fail for many many hours and eventually it makes sense? Cuz I'm at like 3 hours and it hardly ever goes where I think it will.

Bradley Blow I just recently found out about individually binding air roll left and air roll right so I don’t have to move my joy stick to air roll. I just hold that button down and move my joy stick up or down to affect the nose of my car. Still can’t air roll aerial though, I think that really just comes with a couple thousand hours

For anyone on *drill 8* the best I can describe is you want the top of your car to be coming around to face the corner your taking. So start with a regular air roll then go into the kuxir until you change direction and either go back to regular straight when your happy with the angle you've got (e.g. wait for the kuxir spin to point you straight up) or begin the regular air rolls when the car is a slight angle from the kuxir spin to maintain a curve momentum (however you will need to straighten yourself back up as to not hit anything) NOTE: This is only what I've found out from about 3 hours of practicing this so take it with a pinch of salt as I'm not 100% but it is starting to work a bit for me

Hey musty, I’ve seen your video and your pillars aerial car control tips actually helped me a lot, I actually created a 20 shot training based off your video on pillars, so if people get bored going circles and circles around the pillars. Well now there will be a shot waiting for them. DL code 1D3A-64D3-F2A6-682D

Another variation you can do at pillar map is only free-cam or only ball-cam to learn how to move from any perspective

I feel like 4 should be changed bc there are plenty of scenarios where the kickoff can end up on your side but you get possession. Or kickoff goals shot from your side. I'd say it should largely be based on possession, not ball location Edit: tho, the way you do the drill is certainly better for practicing winning kickoffs. I guess my thought is, it's not kickoffs that win you games, it's kickoff possession. Winning kickoffs can be a part of this, but boost conservation, recovery skills, shot accuracy, etc. are also just as, if not, more relevant in a lot of scenarios and could be incorporated better into the drill imo

For the aerial control set, you should have another part where you have to keep your car backwards/upside down so you can better control your car in those very awkward situations.

Actually good tips thank you. I like that I don't need to download extra maps. You can even go directly into the free play pillar map, I'm too lazy to set up a custom match every time.

Very good video! I actually never saw any youtuber or coach recommend flying around on the pillars map, but discovered it for myself around 2 months ago. It's indeed very very helpful and effective and a good alternative for console players, who cannot play the custom workshop maps which they have for PC. Thumbs up!
