NEW EXHAUST for the SEAT LEON FR MK3 1.4 TSI ( CUPRA STYLE ) [Backbox Delete and More!!]

Getting a new exhaust for the 1.4 tsi Leon FR mk3. First, we went for a backbox delete that wasn't loud enough, so we went for a backbox and res delete. That sounded nice but after about a week we realised it was a bit too loud for us daily so we went and got a sport res fitted and that made it perfect.

Seat sounds a lot better but its anti climatic at the end of gear changes a remap might make it sound mental, a sweet overrun map would make it bang on 🔥🔥🔥

Naa no warning lights and the exhaust was custom made but the tips were from midnight performance UK

Technically you do but we cut the stock one to make space for the second tip and it turned out pretty good

I've got a Remus back box and res delete on my 1.4tsi Golf R-line and when the traction control cuts in the fuel cut causes the car to backfire. Although mines been remapped and had the ignition timing changed

Yeah that's what happens stock aswell. I worked out after my golf didn't do it because it was still gripping 😂😂 it takes alot to make these ps4s slip

We have a backbox delete and sports resonator. The pops happen when the car loses traction and cuts power

Depends haha how much money you have spare, its not a very unreliable car, but its also not the most reliable its somewhere in between but leaning on to the more reliable side. Just keep up with maintenance or do them a bit earlier and all will be well

Naa they haven't got any major common faults. Just check normal things like oil, cold start, listen for any funny sounds but yeah they're solid cars. For price it all depends on which spec you're looking at. The one in the video is FR

Tbf bro we checked 2 cylinder mode and it doesn't make much noise. And since that's an eco setting it kinda works well it goes quiet when driving eco and roars when going fast

I got told when I called cobra to get the back box removal with a sports resonator that the 2 cylinder mode is very loud with this system and that going with the res removal and the sport back box is the most livable solution is it really that bad?

It's not that bad. If anything if you want to put in 2 sport Res or 1 sport Res + 1 sport backbox. I wouldn't recommend no Res + backbox it'll drone alot and the tone wont be nice

found out mine does manual (dsg farts), by fitting a sport backbox. It aswell does when the traction kicks in. Mine is just like yours Mk6 golf with 1.4 122 Caxa engine :) Do a flick every corner it will fart ;)
