NEW EXHAUST! Lamborghini Huracan STO Modification and Clio V6 Updates | SHMUSEUM VLOG 81

We've got a new exhaust for one of the Shmeemobiles! Okay, okay, it might not be the one you're expecting, however we might have another cheeky upgrade to show you for the Huracan STO... There's plenty of Clio V6 news, and a visit to ‪@QuickSilverExhausts‬ too.
Let's recap the latest progress with our Clio V6 at Godleman's and the transformation of the colour to Acid Yellow, to see it through the motions and all dismantled for the work to be carried out. However, we're taking the Focus RS Heritage Edition to QuickSilver Exhausts to collect the Clio's new Sport system and discovered their setup; including a listen to their demo Ferrari 812.
It's a long one though because we also have a lot of other things; like more LEGO in our latest round of IKEA cabinets, and revealing our upgrade to ‪@Shmee150‬'s Lamborghini Huracan STO.
A huge thanks to QuickSilver for hosting our visit and the system to go on the Renault Clio V6! We've already heard one and very much looking forward to sharing what the Shmeemobile will be like with it.

Since the shmueseum staff are beginnign to become personalities on the channel in their own right. Have you thought about doing a top gear like series, for examples travelling around scotland in an under £500 car that you all have to find. It would be fun and its just an idea. Tim, in order to prevent the hustle plugging in the charger on the Lamborghini you can also install a permanent cable on the battery. The cable are available at Ctek. The option cable replaces the crocodile cable. Never a hustle anymore afterwards.

There was a time that I'd put a shiny exhaust system under my car but now I prefer the low key approach maybe other than the very tip. Less work also.....lol. On your STO as far as when in battery maintenance mode I'd have a shop do a Mod for connections in the bay maybe with rubber plugs when not in use. Simple plug and play after that.

@7:17 You could not only install a quick connector, but you could position the quick connector to an inconspicuous place that doesn't require opening the bonnet! As a matter of fact, there might be a point to relocate the connector on multiple cars: it is now often somewhat cumbersome to plug and unplug the smart charger on many of the cars in the collection 😉

New zo6 Tim! To complete the u.s collection! Then place your cars in sections Italian German and u.s and british! 4 sections with memorabilia! Or wait and get the zr1! That's going to be a weapon! But the zo6 670 natural screaming v8 in a beautiful looking car for 150k u.s! Yes drive one first but they are building right hand drive for European market! You have not even mentioned it! It will be so much more special than the gt500 and close to the gt in performance but natural aspiration 30hp more than gt so it's a special car! The very first mid engine corvette! Would look amazing in the u.s section of your collection! If your a true car collector the vette has so much racing history and is the best u.s supercar besides the gt! But way above the gt500! It's going to sound amazing I think you need to soon drive one and order one! Just my humble opinion! What around 120thousand pounds fully loaded every option all carbon parts c'mon that's a bargain! Similar price to the gt500 that the zo6 will be so far above a mustang in looks performance and racing heratige it's a no brainer Tim im quiet surprised you don't talk about it at all! I don't see why, for the long-termers at least, you don't do some adaptations to make battery charging easier? Even if you sold it, as long as you hadn't done something silly, it surely won't affect the value or "originality", and it would be easier for the new owner anyway. E.g. the STO; a permanently attached lead set to the battery with a connector or socket around/on/through the flap you have to remove to get to the battery? Other options for other cars could be to feed through existing loom routes through the bulkhead to have a connector tucked away in a footwell; all completely reversible. Cuts down the risk of damage while connecting/disconnecting, and the time/hassle it takes to do. Basic auto electrician work and a few hours will get them all done.

I don't agree with Tom cuz the normal Focus RS is just unbelievable and there is this Heritage Edition which is just mind-blowing only 50 of them are made and their values would still rise even the normal RS costs more than the original price in 2018 as Tim said. For Tom you should drive it in the country lanes for more Hot Hatch experience and for your GTI Clubsport option please Tim don't add it to your collection it's one of the worst cars I've ever seen. The RS is lot better in the straight line or on track cuz of 4WD etc. And GTI's often fall out in value. So this is my opinion. I'm just happy that Tim understood that the RS is a perfect hothatch even in 2022.

Ok... I predict a VW Gti Clubsport S coming to the channel shortly after the Clio is done. Then a few videos later, another awesome trip to The Ring but this time with the 3 hatches. That would be very cool, and different. I think seeing Tim's skills applied to some hot hatch laps would be fun and interesting. Also to hear him talk about the differences on thr ring.
