Question: since your car came with NPP from the factory, why did you go with an axle-back that deleted the NPP functionality? There are axle-backs that have valves for the NPP to still work.

so many haters my god. the car sounds great dude. i have an mbrp catback on my focus st it sounds great and it hasnt caused problems, and the fitment was perfect. no drone either. ive heard them on coyotes and they sound epic too. just because mbrp makes cheap exhausts doesnt mean they are bad ones

I would've just had my muffler shop bend me straight pipes and custom j pipes. Same setup as the mbrp axleback for a lot less $$$. An underrated something setup is longtube headers, high flow cats, stock npp exhaust. Sounds really good!

kzbin.info/www/bejne/amXCXqugrduAnrs try this video. This is headers with the stock NPP exhaust. It sounds really good but the problem is you void your warranty and you need a tune. But if this isn't a problem for you, I think it sounds the best. The catless headers is what will make it scream.

Don't buy a top dollar car and put the cheapest axle backs out there! You get what you pay for. Now you have a badass looking car till it starts up. Sell this and pay for a real exhaust! I only say this cause I have bought this company before!

D Mustang You realize it wasn't the axle back that was causing problems right? Welds where the secondary cats got deleted are the problem and that's completely on the exhaust shop that did the work.

I have an MBRP Street cat back on my 2015 mustang gt and couldnt be happier. Im looking at their long tube headers now to complete the system. To each their own I guess.

Click on my link. I had MBRP street first then Borla s-type and now Roush. All with H pipe on my 15 GT. The MBRP looks nice but has a odd tone. I like it till I had someone else drive my car. Once I heard it from outside of the car I sold it. I love my Roush with H pipe, but I do miss my Borla S type. Which the plan was headers with the S-types. Now I'm going a hole new direction

I would have cut both secondary cats out and replaced them with electric cutouts. This way you can open the cutouts with the flip of a switch and the car will be crazy loud, but when you want to be quiet, you leave them closed and you still have the NPP exhaust in place.

Obviously this is an old video i just came upon but you got the CES cuz you unhooked the NPP sensors. Youd have ti get exhasut that has a place for those actuaators or get a pair of Sims for the seonsors!!

If you remove the exhaust flaps it'll throw codes. They're electronically activated and are needed even with a different exhaust.

I think you made a good effort. I'm not trying to be judgmental but you would have been better off getting a shop to install. Important to note is if you're not a certified mechanic your warranty could be voided. Also, you could have waited until the job was completed and edited before uploading. I'm not really up to date with the different exaust these days. Back when I did Mods like this I always went with Flowmaster. Im not sure if they on top anymore but I'm going to look into it. From what I'm reading in my 30 min research it looks like Corsa winning right now.

Cats are there for a reason...part of the emmision system, there goes your warranty. Check engine light will come on if you delete them unless you cheat by reprogramming the computer. Void warranty again but it's already void so go to a performance shop that has a Dyno and they can reprogram your car for you.

Idk why people complain? When you have a v8 all you need is a muffler delete and it will be way louder. On a v6 muscle car you really need an exhaust system because if you delete the muffler and resenator it sounds dicey.
