Actually this was a pretty good guide? I mean till now I always recommend Caesar Oh’s guides as they help with the name pronunciation and have a lot of information but they are not up to date so ... It would be great if there was an updated version of Ceasar Oh’s guides:( Anyway thank you for the Exo reaction ~

Amazingly well timed for Chen's birthday (today) and the release of new drama episodes from Xiumin's recent drama (tomorrow) 😊 Sadly Xiumin's guide has been the only one who has a 2023 version, so for the rest of the members you'll have to stick to the 2020 version. The song you really liked in the beginning is Vroom vroom from EXO-CBX, one of the two subunits in EXO. There are two things I'd love to add: - You're right that his character as the oldest does come out. He's actually said it himself that he wants to be more playful, but that he's often holding back because he's the oldest. Xiumin is someone who'd never take the spotlight from his younger members, rather choosing to stand back and let them shine as much as they can. This often makes him seem quiet and maybe a little distant, but get a little alcohol in him and all of that changes! It's a known joke that the members don't want to drink with him anymore, because he gets way too clingy 😂. - The second thing is that he's not only a great dancer, but EXO's choreographies always make him run all over the stage! He often has to go from left to right, to front to back, only to have to go all the way back to his starting point. Because of this (and his amazing versatility) he's known as the member who will do well no matter the position. Be it singing, dancing, rapping or variety, he's the member that can do it all! Which is why he's earned himself the title The Hidden ACE of EXO! Thank you for another fun reaction! I'll be waiting for the next! 😊

Xiumin is so underrated 😭 he needs more love and appreciation glad you're giving him some. Also I think this guide and Cesar Oh are great, I'd watch both honestly however I think Cesar's is a bit more informative especially for those who are new to EXO (vet Ls like myself just watch them for fun) but go with whichever you feel is right for you and your journey to EXO. Thanks for another great vid. Looking forward to the next.

I agree re: Cesae Oh's videos - I think they add a little more personal feeling to the members, even if the videos aren't up-to-date. It's nice to see his more recent activities showcased, but more detail would be great.

I hate Cesar Oh guide so much... All Xiumin's personality traits are just old aegyo clips, like my man is more than that, thanks and on top of that they gave incorrect info just to explain why members said he was cold or tsundere because that idea doesn't fit with his looks 🤡. I do understand that some perception/opinions are populars or that fans like some trait more than others but guides are suppose to be helpful to get to know them and people (Xiumin included) are complex and not unidimensional beings. Showing that Xiumin has more than one single trait, it will attract way more people, not just as an idol but as entratainer.

Papercuts is one of my favorite Exo -CBX Japanese tracks. Please check it out. I know yoi don't focus on lyrics so all I will say that this performance was one of the last before Xiumin went to Military, first Exo member to go. Part of the lyrics are- "you're not alone" when Baekhyun sang this he looked at Xiumin, who looked a bit sad. That's all I will say.

As you're just getting started with EXO, you, likely haven't checked out their sub-units yet. EXO-CBX and EXO-SC. CBX is Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin (many of the songs you were commenting sounded great were CBX songs). I can't recommend them enough, they are brilliant. EXO-SC is Sehun and Chanyeol our beloved rap line but their vocals are really great too! As for the guides, I haven't seen all the new ones but this was really great. I mean Caesar Oh's guides are canonical for EXO-L but it's great to get updated guides. Looking forward to your several hints (NCT in particular. EXO are my ults but NCT is top 3 for me)!
