I always make a fruit fly trap to set next to my fruit and sink. I do not buy the strips and stuff because they're ugly and expensive. I get a small mason jar or small container we don't really use. Add a 3-4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and equal part warm water to it. Then add 2 small drops of dish soap (traps them and makes them sink to the bottom). It always works for me and keeps the fruit flies to a minimum. I live by these traps plus they aren't totally hideous. Lol. They also last quite a while. I switch them out every 2-3 weeks. Budget friendly. 😘

@@AnaWiggins best thing I've ever used!! I hate those sticky fly traps and strips. It's gross. Plus they're so expensive. I save tons by just buying some apple cider vinegar and using things I always have at home. Dish soap and water. 🤷‍♀️ ballin on a budget. Lol

Hi, great motivation for me (I was cleaning out the freezer). I had the same problem with socks. I use a small netted washing bag to contain the socks when washing (only pairs go in). Also I cut my husband's sock amount in half - approx 20 pairs. Hope that helps. Loved the videos. ❤

For fruit flys, I pour vinegar in a glass and cover it with aluminum foil and poke several holes in the top with a toothpick. They go in, but can''t get back out. Also, when I get fruit flys really bad I check my potato bin for rotting potatoes. That will attract them. So I throw out any bad ones.

I got so tired of going nuts matching socks. Now we have solid black and solid white. Period. It has been a game changer. I also put my husband and I each on a 5 item per category limit. 5 work shirts 5 casual shirts and yes 5 pair of socks. Etc. What a difference doing laundry has been!💚

I’m right there with ya on the laundry… getting it washed and dried, easy peezy…folded and put away, yea that’s gonna be at least 5-10 business days 😂 I may need to get some baskets for each kid to take to their room, where did you get those?

I definitely have a love hate relationship with laundry lol It's so nice to have the hampers near empty, but putting it all away isn't nearly as fun as I would like! I got the baskets at Walmart! My kids know mom means business when we break out the take back baskets 😂

Boil apple cider vinegar and pour it down your drains.Also pour some apple cider vinegar in a empty water bottle and they will go in and not get out.Kind of gross but so are the flies.I am in Alabama so i will also do the bottle thing on my porch to atract flies add a little suger.❤

For fruit flies I have a small glass jar that I put apple cider vinegar in like an inch worth cover it with foil poke holes in it big enough for the flies to get in and that’ll do it works for me be safe God bless

About socks. We have one type and color of socks per person. This way I don't have to look for matches, and I don't care if one sock is missing. My daughter has black, short ankel socks, I have the slightly longer, black socks. Super easy in so many ways. Why does it take so much longer to clean when you film?

That's a great idea!! I will definitely not be buying any more of the design variety sock packs, even if they are super tempting! It will be so much easier to pair when each kid just has one type of socks. With filming, making sure the angles are right and moving the camera around are definitely two of the big ones. Lighting is tricky too with opening blinds, turning lights on/off and playing with camera settings.
