NEW F1 24 driven in VR | 3 Laps at Monza | No Assists | + Fanzone

This is my only second race after doing one 3 laps race in Austria, had no clue how yet the car behaved and that on Monza, so this was my first VR experience ever actually on Codemasters F1 game straight after only a race with difficulty level at hardcore or elite how it was named, with every assist being turned off. The AI however I am not so sure I checked on that, but I believe they were round 70-80, anyway.
It was good experience and looked well polished!

After 30 minutes in the game and three races by 3 laps each, I have to say I am very positively surprised with this F1 Game compared with the previous ones. Maybe it's just subjective but I think it's an improvement on the handling, precision, and overall feel of the car. Enjoyed it.

Are you running a 1070ti and having a good experience? Because a 3060 and 3070ti were struggling on previous iterations of the game. I'm still waiting for a sale but it would be good to know they have optimised the VR experience.

​@@1753sarah Yes I am, but I have a very strong CPU, motherboard and RAM developed all in combined by a PC builder and as it turned out even on 4k monitor, I manage to run all games on high to ultra. Now of course, I don't get 100 FPS, but considering it's all what comes down to these days, and not like in the past whether a game will be actually played or not on certain specifics, I don't mind playing anything on 40 FPS or 60, or 100. For me 60 FPS is premium - considering the human eye detects as much as 30 to 60 FPS - not more. Regarding the VR, I do have issues with the navigation on the VR headset - that I don't have on other simulations like on iRacing, AC, AMS2 or even RaceRoom. I do have with ACC but it's down to optimization of the game itself. However on EA Sports games, I had troubles with Dirt and now the same or even worse is with F1 titled games. But I manage to get on with that too. However for the money this game is paid, and the times in which we live in, the experience they sell, it's definitely a no no. I hope this was of a help

@DuxDrive thanks for the info. Definitely helpful, and I'll be sure to give it another go when I eventually get the title. I wouldn't say I'm an fps snob myself but the experience I had on 23 which was even worse than 22 (which I played predominantly in VR) was just unplayable outside of time trial with a Quest 2. In any case, enjoy the title.

I guess that will be depending on the graphic card, VR headset, and so on. On my side it was quite good and I enjoyed it! Especially the crew all around before the start as well as the race end celebration. Just hit 10km run, came back for a shower and back to explore the game! I will keep on posting daily!

They will have to have done something to the engine if it should be any good. F1 22 and 23 were awful and in the other end of the spectrum of VR in racing sims with fleshed out AC and AMS2 in the other end of the spectrum.

shift faster, an f1 doesnt need to hit rev limit or even close unless is the 8th gear at the end of a straight, great video :)
