New Faces in Ashford's Stud Barn

Coolmore’s Ashford Stud welcomes a trio of new stallions to their program for the upcoming season. Maximum Security (New Year’s Day) and Echo Town (Speightstown) will start off their stud career at the Versailles, Kentucky-based farm, while Caravaggio (Scat Daddy) will stand his first year in the States since relocating from Coolmore’s headquarters in Ireland after spending two seasons there.
Today we sat down with Coolmore’s Adrian Wallace to discuss their two first-season sires.

Sgf 1000.MS enough said. Coolmore are a fantastically successful breeding operation but might have bought into a dud here? You never know he could be a star in the sheds hope so he always looked a brave horse under Servis tenure.

Slaughter is also an option available for horse owners in lots of countries and used including in the US.

@@cathyvannoy556 I'm well aware of what happened to Ferdinand. It was a tragedy and everyone including people working in the racing industry were disgusted. If you looked up what happened to Ferdinand, you'd know that his death spawned numerous thoroughbred retraining and rehoming programs and racehorses have a much longer and happier retirement than before.

You’re a complete fool if you think Servis was the only high end trainer using PED. And there is no physical proof that Max received anything. Bottom line. Nobody knows who and how many may be involved. Servis and the West’s made some powerful enemies with the whole derby disqualification thing. And if there is one thing we know about the racing Elite. They never forgive or forget. This whole thing stinks and is a joke in American racing. The drug issue. Now there’s some facts upside the face for ya.

@@robertnoble6600 The only *fact* that you stated was: that there was no physical proof that "Max" received anything. The FBI recording has a vet guaranteeing the trainer that the PED would pass drug test. That's a fact.........
