If they are involved, and I’m not convinced they are, it’s probably as one person posting explained - they were watching the terrorists, after they CIA warnings, thinking they would wait until the perfect moment when it could possibly look like it had something to do with Ukraine - with the plan to swoop in and arrest them right when they were about to start the attack. If they arrested them too soon it wasn’t dramatic enough and understandably cynical orcs wouldn’t believe them. But their incompetence, typical drunkenness or corruption (maybe the surveillance equipment failed because it was the cheap stuff and someone pocketed the difference) .. whatever. They fucked up and lost the trail. Maybe they and all of Moscow’s security apparatus were waiting outside a concert hall on the other side of Moscow, which would explain how long they took to get to Crocus. And then once they fucked up, they had to scrabble to find a story, some way to blame Ukraine. Now, this sounds a little complicated but not beyond what we know of these choads. So if they were involved, I would find this narrative easier to believe than a straight false flag, like their chums the Nazis setup before invading Poland. But all in all, I think the most likely thing is ISIS-K did this off their own backs. We know they’re capable. And the FSB and the other various orc gestapos are just incompetent. Years of propaganda BS eventually poisons your sense of reality, they probably believe the rubbish about how scary and competent they are so never thought they needed to pick up their game. After all, they were so successful at arresting gay rights activists and teachers who write ‘stop the war’ on social media, this would have given them the sense they were competent and on the ball. But harassing individual pacifists and social pressure groups is nothing like stopping hardened, prepared to die, fully equipped and tactical types with good opsec. ISIS has pretty good opsec as any members who didn’t have been droned over the last 15 years. TLDR - they are just a bunch of arrogant bullies, incompetent and corrupt. In my mind, this can explain everything.

Internal security within Russia is apparently not great. Because of the war Russia and the West are not cooperating on things like Islamic terrorism. 3. Because of the war there is a lot of intense media focus on Russia at the moment, a terrorist attack there will receive almost instantaneous worldwide coverage. 4. A lot of Russians are Muslim and might be potential recruits. There are also a lot of citizens of CIS countries that reside in Russia that might be potential recruits. 5. Russia Borders a lot of central Asian countries where ISIS-K is active. 6. Russia supports Iran financially and militarily, which is hostile to ISIS and its offshoots. Russia would be wise to stop burying their head in the sand and realize that they have many enemies, Ukraine is not a real threat to them, and their war in the west has made them weak and vulnerable to enemies coming from the south and east.
