@@angieharris9744 yeah those designer channels tell you that your decor is tacky and outdated if you like vintage or antique items, or have some family heirlooms in your home. Most often their ‘design’ is not the favorite of many viewers, according to their comments.

I love the pumpkin throw it’s super cute and I would say decorate how it makes you happy you have to live and look at it so why not add things that bring you joy! I do I love a mixture of styles and that is what makes every home unique. Love your channel decor and vibe ❤😊

I love your channel and I love the pumpkin throw. It has neutral colors but most important, you like it! You should always decorate with things you love, enjoy and things that represent something to you. I love to get ideas to decorate but at the end of the day, I decorate with things that makes me happy, things that I like and enjoy. Some of the videos that I see looks like they cut and paste. All the houses look the same. In my opinion your house should represent you. You have great taste and your house looks beautiful. If someone doesn’t like something, it’s your house, not theirs. 😘

I don’t think the pumpkin throw is tacky at all. It doesn’t give off farmhouse vibes either but maybe that’s just me. I think it’s a cute touch for fall. Idk I feel like you have to tip toe around home décor nowadays bc it seems like a lot is labeled “tacky”. That’s why I hate trends lol some of these “designer” looks look tacky in my opinion. I digress tho. I think your home turned out beautiful! I want your wooden console table so bad 😭😭🍁🎃

When I watch some interior designer videos, many of their decor style is cold. I like my home cozy and comfy, not feeling like a sterile hospital or office building. Whether your color palette is neutral or color, it can still be homey.

Love it Brenda! Everytime I commit to adding color, I shortly want to change it out. I am adding rust to my fall decor but I am only keeping it in one area. This way I get the best of both worlds. Although watching your video made me want it to switch it back to neutral :)))
