If you want something thats cozy but also kinda raw, you need to watch The Holdovers! Its about a grumpy old teacher having to look after his students at a prep school over Christmas break and the bonds they form by being stuck together. Its like a hug you get from someone you love after discussing something really serious and crying it out. Its fantastic. Its not only one of my favorite christmas movies, but one of my favorite movies in general.

Growing up in the 80s, I remember watching "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" several years in a row--I think it was a "made for tv" movie with an older Mickey Rooney as the grandpa who wanted his grandson [Scott Grimes] to experience Christmas in New York City, with lots of (mis)adventures along the way. Now, I want to go watch Home Alone and Christmas Vacation. 🙂 Enjoy the season!

Don't knock the crocs till you wear them on your walks lol Fun stuff. I love The Santa Clause and the Grinch movies. I just watched Edward Scissorhands which I always forget has Christmas in it. I started decorating last week and this week. I'm like you, taking it a little at a time. By this time of year I'm usually sad to let Autumn and Halloween go but over the past couple of years I decorated for Autumn way back in August so it was a lot easier to change seasons and decor without being too sad. I'm really looking forward to Christmas. LOVE the sweaters!

Prancer is a favorite Christmas movie in our home. They came out with Prancer 2 a few years ago. If you have never watched that beautiful movie you must add it to your list. I love baking, our hot cocoa bar, music and decorating. It's all so magical! Enjoy! ❤🎄🎅

Did you see the movie Last Holiday? Our families favorite’s are: 1.Jingle All The Way 2.National Lampoons Christmas Vacation 3.Serendipity 4.The Santa Claus. 5. Friday After Next. 6. Home Alone There are many movies we love but those are our top six. Then we see old re-run specials from the 1980’s. Yogi’s 1st Christmas, Smurfs Special, Inspector Gadget..etc.
