Robin, your living room is comfy, homey and lovely. I always have to smile at you gals who thrift books for decor. I have shelves of books everywhere that I’ve read over the years, so I can grab books anytime from my own stash. 😊 I love that you use pics of your family. It gives the home warmth and genuineness. As to the sewing machine you have, did you refinish it yourself? It’s beautiful. I have a bigger one that was my grandmother’s that I’m sure is 100 yrs old. But I’ve been told they’re not worth much because there are so many around. You’ve given me the idea to refinish it, since it may not be worth enough to try to keep it pristine as an antique.

Good Morning Robin. I love how your room turned out. The lamps are perfect and I love how you used the trinket dish as a candle holder I'm definitely going to use that idea. Your coffee table is different from anything I've ever seen and I like what you do with it. I have a smaller rectangular one and I'm struggling on what to do. I like to keep it minimal. I was happy to see your Heavenly Highway Hymnal again. I did grow up with that book and still have one in my collection! I must have missed something! I thought you had five grandchildren and now you say you are expecting your seventh. When did you get the sixth one? Did that just go over my head? Well, congratulations! Hello Robin I'm a basket lady myself, just a suggestion for your coffee table maybe have a piece of wood cut to fit inside the bottom of the table you could paint or stain that way if you would want to use other wicker inside the coffee table the items would pop. I like a laying look. I don't have a coffee table like that but I do have a wicker one on our 3 seasons room and that's what I did.

Hi Robin. Love you videos on KZbin. On the latest decorating your living room, you used a song book that I would love to find a copy also. I have one that is so worn/used the cover has been gone for a long time. This is the song book we used at the little church I grew up in & my Mother used the one I have to play at the piano. She taught herself to play & played at the church until her illness took her away & she passed away. I would love to find one also. Maybe someday I will get lucky & find one while antiquing. :) I will continue to watch your videos. Keep up the good work.

Robin, I keep my fiddle leaf fig tree in a East facing window in a sunroom. I water it once a week and occasionally mist it or put outside when a light rain comes. I got it at Aldi about 3 or 4 yrs ago and it is 7 1/2 ft tall. Also it’s in a pot that drains into water tray.
