New Fall Pumpkin DIY'S

Hello everyone. Welcome to Crafting with Amy. This video is part of a 1st of the month open challenge hosted by Brenda / @rusticlacediy and Krista / @kristascraftylife Please be sure to go check out their channels and subscribe.

This is the Hello Pumpkin 1st of the Month Challenge. We were to make at least 3 pumpkin DIY's. The items used for the DIY'S are as follows:
DIY #1. Foam pumpkin from Amazon; lightweight spackling from Dollar Tree; Folk Art French Linen Chalk Paint; Burlap leaf from Dollar Tree which I painted in the French Linen paint; spanish moss; hot glue gun; white pit berry garland as tendrils.
DIY #2. 3 Wooden Slats from Dollar Tree; 2 square pieces of wood from Dollar Tree; lightweight spackling; jumbo craft sticks; 3 tumbling tower blocks; sand paper; Folk Art Matte Mossy Meadow paint; Elephant Gray paint; Black Paint; Antique Parchment paint; White paint; Harvest Orange paint mixed with Chocolate Bar paint; foam pumpkin from Amazon; spanish moss; cricut letters; acorns; Fall leaves from Wal Mart or Dollar Tree; hot glue gun; mini heat gun from amazon; super glue wood glue and jute twine.
DIY #3. Pumpkin sign from Dollar Tree; Wall Tile from Dollar Tree; Antique Parchment paint by apple barrel; hot glue gun; metal harvest word sign; chocolate bar paint by apple barrel and jute for hanger.

Enjoyed the video...I've always wondered with that tile if you do a highlight color underneath, then paint it white or whatever color you want and do a light sanding to expose the highlight color. I'm sure I've seen that somewhere before. Yours still turned out great. Thanks for sharing them all.

Hi Amy, your spackled pumpkin is pretty, I always love using those tiles, and your rotten pumpkin is my favorite it’s too cute and funny lol. I’m not guilty of leaving them outside because I don’t put real ones out. I live in FL and it’s so humid at Halloween that they wouldn’t even last a day, so we stick to baking with them… well my daughter does because she loves it so much😊

I don't leave the pumpkins out either without taking the pulp and seeds out and putting to use. I make pumpkin cookies, spiced pumpkin bread. I even love pumpkin seeds. Take them out- wash them and allow to dry- toss with oil, salt and seasonings and roast them.
