I am so glad I stumbled across your channel! I am a thrift store, china, dish and glassware junkie! I think we are sisters from another mister! (Except, I am not a fan of target). I would love to see how you are organizing and storing your collections for ease of use! That is my biggest challenge! I have so many beautiful sets of dishes, china, flatware, serving pieces, napkins, tablecloths, etc….just so hard to have the storage space for them!

I'm kicking myself now, I had a Pheasant like that one in my hands at the goodwill back in the spring and I put it back, thinking when would I need a Pheasant. Also when you said, I'm just adding a knife, fork & spoon...I thought you said I'm just adding a NICE fork & spoon 🤣🤣🤣🤣 then I watched to add a knife, fork & spoon. 😊

I hate when I later regret not buying something! Especially from a thrift store or estate sale ~ you know it won't be there. "NICE fork and spoon" ~ hahahaha! I can totally hear where you heard that. 😄

I LOVE setting a pretty table, but I often find that form doesn't necessarily fit function. In other words, once the table is set with a sprawling centerpiece such as this one, there is nowhere left to fit the food on my table. This leaves me to have to serve buffet style or for me to always have to bring the dishes to table course by course. Can you please discuss tablescapes designed to allow room for, and highlight the food of a family-style service?

Yes, I agree that tablescapes like this one, are pretty, but don't allow for food on the table. There are other videos I've made which address that dilemma. Often I incorporate a tray or bowl that can easily be removed when it's time to eat so the food dishes can be placed on the table.
