This is the best tiny house I've seen to date. I could live in this one with only two changes... make the sink counter in the bathroom extend out have extra top on a hinge to make the space bigger when needed, and have space for stackable washer/ dryer unit. I absolutely love the bedroom situation! Best build ever!!!

Absolutely brilliant. Love the attention to the details. The floors, countertops, the Dutch door, the woodburning stove. Just gorgeous. It is obvious that he is not a cookie-cutter type of man. He truly thought about every detail - from the ground up. As a senior person, the bedroom has to be on the ground floor, for sure.

Truly amazing! A real gem! Love at first sight! It really stands out from the many repeating layouts! Love the idea of a downstairs bedroom. Genuine (half)stairs are a welcome feature. Maybe going a little bigger would alow for a more spacious bathroom. This design and craftsmanship is pure genius. Not sure, when to start my own built, but will always keep this inspiration in mind. Thanks Mat for sharing this unique and brilliant design. We often hear the expression... "thinking outside the box," which is more relevant when it comes to a tiny home. Nick just became the textbook definition. This is truly a great design. Of all of the houses I grew up in the side-split was my favourite as you can go to different parts of the home to escape humans or noise. When you live in Canada it is important to be able to refresh or change your perspective during the winter months. Possibly the best design feature is the 2nd bedroom. This could easily be built as an office or TV/gaming room. Thank you Nick for sharing your inventiveness, talent and dedication to your art. Every single detail was given proper consideration. This is probably the smartest design I have ever seen on this channel. congrats on your accomplishments Nick and may your future be as bright as you are.

I live in a much bigger trailer and it's not as functional as this tiny home. Over a third of my trailer has become mostly storage. I like the second bedroom because it could become a craft room. I love all of the windows! I have only 5 regular (single) windows plus 2 small (kitchen & bathroom) windows.

What a lovely little house and layout. The kitchen reminds me of a Cottage kitchen. The only thing I would do is put a curtain pole across where the upstairs bedroom is more so for the Winter months to keep that loft room cosy and arm.

Excellent and thoughtful floor plan. I like the kitchen at the end and the upstairs bathroom. The only thing I would want to change is the wall-to-wall bed. I don't like crawling on the bed to make it up or change sheets, but I imagine one could rotate it 90 degrees and size down to a full and make it work.

I liked it a lot - the layout is unique and I also love the style of old, durable with slim stylish. The kitchen, especially with the wood tops is lovely. The lowered bedroom is genius. The upstairs guest/kids room was surprising. That this fits 😇 Only the living room seems not that cozy - it still looks great and even has a fire. But the sofa seems too thin to be comfortable 🤔🤗 Somehow got the feeling it's a bit like a ship. All the rooms not that often used are further away and make some compromises.
