Great livestream Jarrett! It's always exciting finding new family, especially in an area like Suwalki where the records seem to be plentiful. Drotkowski to Rosenberg is a wild change. Have you considered looking at the witnesses to the births, deaths, and marriages? In my research, I've sometimes found that these are other relatives in the area.

I’ve looked at your wikitree, and you haven’t updated any of the information. Would love to see all the stuff that you had found on wikitree.

I would like to know which DNA testing, in your opinion, is the most accurate.

As I wrote in the live comments, 10cM is about as low as I go these days, as for spending time on a match. With 25k+ matches per kit on Ancestry there are just too many matches to research every one of them. And we should note that at 7cM a declared segment can still be a false positive (for unphased genotypes.)

How can you be confident they are the same people with name changes ? Maybe I missed that part. So cool tho

I only showed a small portion of things and din't cover all the records we found showing the name changes, including some showing direct connection between Rosenberg and Dratkowsky as well as between Goldberg and Mickelberg. While I have a high confidence this is all true, I will admit that there is a possibility there are errors with some of the connections. A big part of this relies on making conclusions based on correlation between the paper-trail and DNA testing, much of which is difficult to show without privacy issues.
