Indeed, this seems to have been made before the Futura even existed. I reached out to DFC who hopefully will tell me more about it.

Now that's an oddball. If it wasn't a Dixie it would be a Futura with that style housing

My thoughts exactly, thats what I was going with until I got it home. I betcha it is a Dixie Designer ii though based off the date and some of the other info. This must’ve been the predecessor to the Futura.
