Oh my gosh, we ended up in the ER while traveling Friday night with my 3 & 1/2 yo with her first ear infection and she hadn't said anything either, same thing, lingering cold and then bam, ear pain. Hope she's feeling better soon, my daughter is thankfully!!

I love the Hollywood flawless filter! I love L’Oréal pro matte foundation but sometimes it’s TOO matte, so I dab this on my cheekbones before foundation and then sometimes also on top. I love how I can customize how matte I want to be and still get a glow while not looking greasy. It’s so natural and glowy!!

@@TracyD2 I'm 43. My skin is dry without skincare intervention. My recommendation between the two is partly a matter of what kind of coverage do you want. Longwear is more coverage. Intriguing enough, I use less product with the Longwear one (only one pump). My recommendation would be to get a sample of both from Nordstrom or Sephora. If you can't get a sample, then I would start out with the Sheer Glow. When my skin was much drier, that is where I started and fell in love. But something to keep in mind is whichever one you do choose, use your fingers to apply (best case scenario) as both of these foundations need that to get the true color and perfect blend. I'm told by a Nars representative, if you aren't willing to use your fingers, then use a sponge (but this will require more product). Nars also advised me that using a brush will not give the desired results. Also, use a lot less product than you would use with other foundations. For example with the Longwear one, I was told that I should only need to use one pump (and that is a tiny amount), I didn't believe them. But I tried it one day, and it really was true (when I use my fingers). I hope this helps. If you have any more questions let me know. ☆☆Use a glitter glue and the glitter will adhere till you remove it. Even if I want to pop a little glitter on my finished look I all take a tiny amount of glitter glue on my finger apply it then tap the glitter over it. Problem solved. Pat McGrath just has an amazing formula and is worth the extra 30 seconds of finessing. An congratulations on 1 million subscribers!!

I love Pat's eyeshadows, they are so special...I own the purple mothership palette and the mini version of it. I don't use the super often, but they are great for concerts and special nights. I really want this one too...that red is really calling my name. I really wish maybe she did a few single shadows that are unique, I'd gladly pay $20+ dollars for one, I already do that with the Stila glitter shadows...I LOVE those as well ❤️

It’s definitely rough having any sickness on your birthday. Most of my major sicknesses happened on mine which is New Year’s Eve. Had chicken pox at 8 and wisdom teeth out at 15. It sucked pretty bad😔 Glad Belle’s wasn’t too serious and she’s on the mend now!😊👍🏻🙏🏻

Hope you and Belle are continuing to feel better. Yep, viruses (colds) can lead to secondary infections, like ear infections often. I was a pediatric office nurse since 1997 before I became disabled in 2014. I miss it so so much. I never could have imagined how much I would miss patient care and parent care too. I loved my job so much, I used to work the after hours clinic very often back then helping care for sick kiddos. Hope that miss Eve and Tyler are doing well too! ❤️

I use to hoard lip tints and now my favorite ones are a pixi one which is double sided (ones a gloss), the Revlon balm stains and the fresh sugar balm/tints. I’ve laid off of “water” tints (like benetint) cuz I think they wear off strange unless you want a gradient lip and they’re usually drying. I try to stick to balm tints but now Ive simply been applying a rich balm and pat a bit of a traditional bullet lipstick on top. Super simple, versatile and I could do it without a mirror.

I love the erborian cc cream, I have very oily skin, the cc cream stays on very well through out the day, doesn’t crease on my smile lines, doesn’t crack, it evens out my complexion and i look naturally nice! I use it with the Too Faced multi sculpting concealer! Perfect combo!

One thing that has helped prevent everybody in my house from getting sick due to my 11yr old bringing germs home from school is this... as soon as she gets in my car when I pick her up from school I have her use hand sanitizer then when we get home she changes her clothes and washes her hands. I've noticed less sickness being spread around our family when we do this. Get well soon ❤

Wanted to say that I have the Subliminal, the first Mothership palette, and tend to apply the glitter/VR shades with Fix+ sprayed on the brush - not that they need intensity (haha, anything but), it's just that it does seem to help them grip a bit longer through the day. (I use UD's eye primer or a Paint Pot underneath). It's also worth trying the special effect shadows over others you might have, they really open up possibilities!
