I was not going to do this build out until I watched your video and the fact a single race pays for it was a no brainer. My usual grind for this track is the Audi Pikes Peak but this Volvo is a blast and will join my favourites list "Buy Volvo, they're boxy but they're great" if anyone remembers that film :) Anyway, my settings are based on your build but I changed the the suspension to the following: Height 135/145, Anti-roll 9/8, Damping Comp 30/30, Exp 45/45, Frequency 1.70/1.90, Camber 1.5/0.0, Toe out 0.02/in 0.20 last change was gearbox to 360 and running fuel mix 4 on Sport Soft tyres. Works well for me, will play with diff settings tomorrow.

Thanks, for this insane build! It's so broken it's hilarious. It also takes a lot of skill to control it on the slick roads, too. Some info: The devs figured if you could use IM on wet surfaces, this track would be too easy. So, the IM decay faster than they're supposed to compared to other wet weather tracks e.g. Spa, and Le Mans. The * only * definitive way to lose the bonus is if you go outside the far bounds of the hairpin turn before the home straight. You can bash the AI all to Hell, and still get the bonus. But if you go outside the track bounds when turning for home, THIS is when/how you can lose the bonus.

Beautiful tune brother. Been playing since 99’ lol. Just now found your channel while scrolling. Same tune as you with minuscule changes and I pulled of a 26 minute total and only pitted on the 8th lap into sport hards and was hitting 230 regularly. Over a minute ahead of the pack. I noticed when the update launched, that 240 seems to be capped in PP propably due to the ridiculous buggy lack of stability lift-off oversteer the car has. This car must be coded by the same drifting fanboy at PDI who is responsible for the engine swaps. I can assure you the real car behaves nothing like that even stock - I have one irl and have spent countless hours and years driving and drifting it around in gravel and snow when I was young. Let alone with racing suspension and ballast. This car was used for rally and DTM for crying out loud. I've been racing 240 in 550pp since it was added with mixed tires. If you put one grade grippier tires to back it fixes the oversteer. Just try SM/SS of RH/RM tires front/back and its a lot more stable. Without the mixed tires there just isnt a way to tune out the lift-off oversteer. I have tried. I seems like the car is "stock" with mixed tires, then you can start tuning it to your preference as usual. Propably a bug or "funny" easter egg by coders. Guys at PDI propably have driven some beaten-up 240 ruined by tuning parts in Japan..

@ it’s a Le Mans winner too. Took them less on lap 1 before Mulasanne hairpin. Opening lap time of 3 mins 53. Fuel map 6 is literally 2 laps!! Hard tyres need changing every 2 laps too, once the left rear starts to wear it’s gone. On medium tyres the back end’s coining round under braking in to the chicanes on the Mulsanne Straight. Inters on a dry track are absolute toast in 1 lap. Had a full dry race so not sure what it’s like in the wet.

Pretty sweet build. I have a build for the R32 GTR and run this race in about 26:30 with only pitting once. Love that car so much. Handles like a dream and it’s a rocketship, but not nearly as fast as this car at 600pp.

Thanks man. I thought my one stop with sports mediums (999BHP, FM1 straight, fm4 for 8 laps, then flat out for final 4 laps, fastest lap sub 2:06) was fast but even with all the pit stops your one is about 30 seconds faster. Cheers 😄

I've just used this tune for a couple of races and the interesting thing is how "slow"feels.# Maybe it's something to do with the diff settings to cure most of the oversteer or the suspension being a bit more "rolly" than my more recent setups. The lap times don't lie though! Now all we need in game is an 850 R or/and V70 T5 R Oh and the proper S40 for touring car things...

Nice find on the racing trans glitch 😂 but if you’re grinding it for best optimal time, i will say that i would try to limit this to a 2 stop at most though. i’d use maybe mediums with a stiffer rear natural frequency to save the tires. Your finish time is 26+ minutes and the pit stop hurt your time a lot. hope this helps!

Gt-R r33 '97 with swap is king of this race, swap bit pricey, but this gtr have 1000 hps, and can do this entire race without pit stop at all, and can do lap times fast as 1:48 per lap. Fully tuned, with worst tires, litte as 3 kg is needed to end up with 600 pp. No other car in this game can make this race without atleast one pit, and still pulling 1:50 on average and being 600 pp, but this car cant turn either... Not like thats issue on this race. 😂

Don't think so , you have to certain collector level for the ultra turbo. Not really assential to the tune anyway , just a bit for bhp

Only unlocks at collector level 50. Only alternative is the slim chance it'll drop from a ticket or not as slim chance if engine ticket next appears in the weekly races

I’m not very good at the game and can’t beat Tokyo but sardegna in a de tuned jag xjr 9 is very easy to make over 700k a race in the 800 race

@ any advice on how to get better? Other than just doing the races I took a break from the game first a while and just starting playing again and can’t keep off the walls and constantly get wrecked by ai

@ryanstalcup4231 most of my recent Tokyo videos have the full unedited fastest lap at the end , might be useful for lines and braking points or techniques - other than that the circuit experience and licence tests are best way to learn 👍
