The best car building channel on KZbin. Mat is very insightful and well organised. He doesn't unpload until things are done. His videos are well oriented, they always have an objective to reach at the end of them. Unlike other youtubers who usually upload without reaching anything, just because they are missing a bolt or something. Huge respect to you, Mat.

Quality pure quality, no attitudes, just clear insightful content. Please make longer video's, I usually get board easy, but the clear information you narrate keeps me glued to every detail. The whole team makes the channel vibe, and you and your dad have the relationship every boy dreams of. The energy you bring is honest, and we are all swept along in the flow. Right now my own father is fighting for his life after his 8th stroke at 70 yrs old, love every min of your life and keep making memories. I only tell you this cos right now when I get a little down time..... I can not concentrate on gaming or movies, but for 45 mins a time watching your content I get lost in your world with your family friends and the highs and lows and amazing cars and I found myself smiling today when she sprang into life. Mat, you always need to use in pair the BCM, the ECM and the Instrument cluster. All of them are not just coded to each other, but also the Immobiliser data for the exact vehicle is stored on all 3 of them. You will not be able to start the car with the Instrument cluster from the other one. I would suggest you to disassemble both instrument clusters and move the yellow placket behind the rev counter to the working cluster if you need the yellow color. Also, even if you buy new instrument cluster from Porsche, you will also not be able to start the car. The only option to start the car with different cluster is to use a brand new (virgin, never initialised) and write the Immo data to it using Odis/Piwis VAG service software with live online connection to the VAG servers and login from original workshop. Cannot be done without the full car being assembled and bought to Porsche, because the procedure actually read the Immo data from the other two modules and then write and also synchronise the rolling keys to the instrument cluster. Also, you will not have problems with the OPF mismatch and country of the both engines. P.S. Great video! I am planning a detailed video about the principles of the Immobiliser at my channel and why we cannot easily defeat it 👍

@@jordank195when the Immobiliser is not matching (Immobiliser protection active), the car will only crank and never actually start (no spark plugs will be activated). @@peterlaskiewicz8252 Yes, I hope that too. My company makes automation machines for engines manufacturing and we usually (90%) use the method of both "grades" with matching tables. i remember this one time i felt like no matter what i did, people just didn’t notice me. i tried everything-confidence boosters, social tips, you name it-but nothing seemed to work. then i found this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it completely shifted how i saw myself. it’s not just about being noticed; it’s about understanding the energy you project. honestly, this book made all the difference for me. if you’ve ever felt invisible, you need to read it.

Had to leave you a comment on both Facebook and KZbin because I am so amazed at what you able to do.. excellent editing on your videos as always..

Mat’s & His father’s ability to learn complicated mechanical process for very specific car is unparalleled. It is very impressive. Many other KZbinrs trying to replicate what they do learn the hard way how complex and risky it is. I am curious to learn where they find all the specs and building procedure. They must have good friends at Porsche, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce etc.

The engine rebuild is insane. To think that you guys are like, we got this. Having never done it. Frigging insane. The fact you are able to learn the timing and using all the tools and explain it to some bloke like me and make sense. Bonkers

This is pretty rad. Ever since that ferrari first start w/ the different gearbox(still favorite momment on the channel) it seems like its downhill sledding. All the challenges you face, don’t get you down or phase you! And thats how we all should aspire to be. I say this as cars and life circumstances humble me a little too much lol
