You really think leaving stuff that would trivialize something that should be hard is a good thing? It's like the hand cannon glitch, yea it was fun but it makes high rounds way too easy, not a rewarding and it was obviously not something they intended

I love the oil trap + Molotov strat SOOOOO MUCH!! I was happy I took a break camo grinding (cause I was attached on getting dark matter), then I found out about that Strat, I was able to get like half my other guns done on the 2k criticals. 😭

just went to round 101, and exfilled, with the citadelle method while doing my dlc weapons after i just completed all base weapons nebula. got my krig, saug and drill to afterlife and drill nebula. there are just not so many amalgams spawning and i missed some by not switching weapons

I just grinded to Nebula from doing the oil strat mostly. Took me a week of playing for around 6-8 hrs of playing on avg though one of the days, I only got to play for 2 hrs. I usually like to go for high round in zombies so it was pretty quick for me to grind out the headshots, opal, and afterlife camos. As for the nebula part, I farmed out the elites from Liberty Falls Directed mode.

from what i notice yesterday doing 24 afterlife camos in 1 gme going to round 84 the explosion fro the dopples after they die oes not count as taking damage for some reason

The elemental orb step still spawns infinite zombies for the "trial" length. Not as many, at least on directed mode, but just killing them doesnt complete the steps like the rituals did.

Would you recommend getting all the military camos first up to purple tiger then knocking out the other challenges to get gold? Or if I’m working on one weapon just get it all the way to gold and then go from There?

Personally I've been just focusing on the 2K crits for every gun. I'm not a big zombies player and don't really find it fun, so I don't play it everyday. The crits seem to be the longest part of the grind so it'll be good to knock out those crits before they patch the oil trap method.

even if they patch leaving the painting step, you also could js progress through the Easter egg steps. there is a challenge where it spawns a lot of doppleghast you can kill, and it will count towards opal.

2000 crits per weapons already insane without glitches (oil traps) would’ve taken around 2 hours per weapon, then 30 manglers a further 30-45 minutes per weapon.. it doesn’t stop there.. another 30-45 minutes for HVT Kills that’s 4+ hours just for a single weapon… Seems like they must’ve not considered that with some weapons.. half of the numbers seem about right to me.

Nigha they did take into account that fact because it’s a pve game mode……all the times you mentioned are set in stone so if someone wants it then ok it’ll take you this long cause it’s literally the easiest crap to do that’s why it takes so long unlike multiplayer where they don’t make you do 500 headshots because theyres so many different variables on what type of match you’ll get and if you’ll have an easy time getting headshots or not so theyres no time frame that could be reliable on when you’ll unlock DM and not to mention theyres plenty of other things to do besides going for camos so I think that’s something your not taking into consideration is you think everyone wants to grind camos and that’s why it shouldn’t take that long when in reality that’s your personal choice and that’s exactly why it’s so long cause it’s your choice to get after it or not

I just stick to old fashioned way. Wave 30 on any map, exfil and repeat. Already have the ppsh nebula, cypher is on nebula, and need 400 crits for the lmg bc i put it down when i got the ppsh and cypher. Love the cypher.

One step you forgot is make sure deadshot is your first perk since the oil trap will do double the damage and you can do it without having to pack 2

If you have nebula/opal unlocked and you’re starting from nothing on a weapon (like the DLC weapons) I normally use the oil trap to get up through at least opal. Headshots and special camos are normally done at about round 40-50, then full opal is hit around 65, so on so forth

you could do it in directed but tbh its slower than doing it in standard and 2, it works for literally everything, for special camo challenges it can get a little tricky but for all military camo's, super straightforward.

I lost an EE run today and multiple times in the past when my friends went down and I couldn’t revive them. The game has so many bugs and issues that it really pisses me off when they patch shit like the rituals. There’s no reason to patch something that makes farming headshots easier over something that literally ruins the game, but that’s treyarch for you

I highly doubt they'll change the ice staff + hand cannon combo. It used to be Ice Staff + Claymore in BO2 and it was never patched. So I doubt, and hope, they leave it or it'll be another "Nerfing Fun" moment. Aether Tool is: 1-10 Rare, 11-20 Epic, 21+ Legendary The lamp has to be in the same room/area as the painting for the tally mark symbols to appear.

I’ll never understand going out of your way to get camos. Like the oil trap. I’m not gonna go into a game just to get camos in that way. Why cheese camos how is that satisfying at all. How can you feel good about having all the camos but all you did was use cheesy camo grinding methods. I understand guns that explode and need crits. The oil trap is a good way. But just using it to make the guns easier is funny to me 😂. I get why content creators do it. Bit of you just some joe shmo why is this way fun for you?

Dude you wasted so much time getting nebula on one gun when you could just stay on citadelle and get nebula in just 2 hours. Use rampage inducer from the beginning you can get set up within 10 minutes. I got all three new weapons the ppsh, lmg, and the AR nebula each weapon only took 2 hours to unlock all the camos from scratch. After round 55 zombies start spawning in slower even though rampage inducer is on which sucks. So I usually exfil on round 61. Getting to round 61 usually only takes one hour with 5k kills 3k headshot kills total at the end so it’s a pretty good start for xp, camos, gobble gums and battle pass. Just completed the battle pass the other day. Imagine having multiple one hour games where you get 5k kills with 3k critical kills how much you’ll progress. Switching maps is a waste of time. I wonder how long this actually took you because you started from 1500 headshots
