Im so glad you noticed how much more violent and aggressive Bruce/Batman is in this game, and you are partially right but another reason is that here he has only been the Batman for i think a year maybe two? Not many as you already know thinks he exist, police isnt even confirming that he does exist, he is not as experienced and is a lot more ruthless than he is later because of his youth and the anger in him is stronger.

The Electrocutioner boss battle ruined my life. I almost dropped the game twice, I stopped going reularly to the bathroom, lost my job, I ate less, had hedaches and nightmares about electricity and my relationship with my family members was broken. Electrocutioner ruined my life.

Slade Wilson AKA Deathstroke is actually the arch nemesis of Nightwing and the Titans. His rivalry with Dick Grayson (who was the first Robin and is now Nightwing) is one of the best in comics.

Yeah think about this, Batman in his first year didn’t have robin, oracle, jim Gordon or really anyone on his side other than Alfred. Plus his parents death was still quite fresh on his mind and he never really dealt with it properly at this point so that’s why he’s so angry. When he gets a new family with robin, oracle etc. and has people he can trust next to him and near him. He becomes more mellow and tactical. It’s quite interesting.

Deadpool was actually inspired by Deathstroke, and in his earliest Marvel comics Wade was very similar to Slade, and not nearly as talkative as he would become. By the mid-90s, Deadpool had evolved due to an influx of new writers, and was made closer to Spider-Man in personality.

It's not often you get to see Batman go one on one with people who are combat experts like Deathstroke, that's a fight I very much preferred to watch than when I played it back when Origins first dropped in stores.

In my opinion, even though "Origins" is not a game made by Rocksteady Studios, this game has the best "Boss battle" of the ENTIRE "Arkham" franchise: vs Deathstroke. The choreography of the fight is AMAZING!!! My top 3 "Boss battles": 1_Deathstroke 2_Ra's Al Ghul (Boss battle Deathstroke copies something) 3_Mr. Freeze

The Electrocutioner boss fight in this game is the DC equivalent to the Mysterio boss fight in the 2004 Spider-Man 2 game. Despite being one of Batman's greatest foes, Deathstroke/Slade Wilson is Dick Grayson's mortal enemy and a constant opponent of the Teen Titans.

The Deathstroke fight wasn’t about the QTE’s. It teaches precision in hand-to-hand fighting. If you press the attack button even one more time than you need to, he counters. If you button mash, he issues an immediate hit on your life bar. Smooth, methodical, rhythmic fighting is the quickest way to defeat him AND everyone else. It my favorite boss fight of all the games. It teaches the player the most important lesson. Precision.

Slade is literally a mirror to bruce in terms of fighting style..I can't remember if slade was trained by ra's n the league of assasins/shadows in this continuity, but in alot of realities/timelines bruce and slade were both graduates of ra's ninja school lol.. so I love that u cam clearly see that in this fight! The only difference (a huge one) is slade is fighting to maim and kill! Bruce is fighting to subdue which is a big detriment to batman. The camera for this fight is different than normal fights, so it's like the games way of telling u "ur about to fight someone WHO CAN ACTUALLY FIGHT!" rather than some big lumbering brute that swings wildy.. slade is such a interesting "anti hero" type .he is the dude that will break into a compound, kill 50 armed dudes easily, but then on his way out he sees a group of kids that are in danger n will go out of his way save them! Then he sees a group of adults in the same life threatening predicament just over yonder, n he will just shrug his shoulders with a "meh, I already did my good deed for the week". N walk away without having a second though about it lol.

Bruce dont have nothing to do with Ras, Bruce was trained by Henry ducard, Kirigi, David Cain, Tsunemoto, Sergei and Richard dragon and Slade only working like mercenary for Talia is not part of Ras league, Slade was trained by his badass wife Adeline Kane, Christopher nolan stuff is trash that dont know nothing about batverse or dc comics, sorry, nolan only want normalization of corruption in his useless movies The best mirror of Batman is Hush, the only one in win the original in all aspects, Slade is more enemy and nemesis of green arrow that even broke his wedding and Oliver stabbed his eye

Steve Blum voices Loose Lips ("punk in the santa hat"); he is most well known for voicing Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop & Mugen in Samurai Shamploo... as well as half of the guards in Arkham Asylum and half the random thugs in Arkham City (and Killer Croc too I think). You can evade when all enemies are on the ground, so you don't lose the combo, plus you gain time to think about your next move

Most people don't realize but all of Deathstrokes attacks are possible to counter but they're not holding your hands and don't always show your openings in a slow motion. Press counter even so and you'll be fine. Also I'm intrigued. How would you see Batman as a "villain" as well? What destruction is he causing? Aside from the criminals bones and trauma to their heads or possibly crippling them I mean haha he is only violent in this game and kinda obsessive in the way he chooses to scary them over doing the right thing. He's still learning though.

Well if you think the Deathstroke fight is simple you should have another go at it in Newgame+ on Hard mode without the counter indicators. It makes you feel more badass when you take him down solely by reacting to his movement.

There's also an achievement if you manage to not fail any single counter while fighting deathstroke. "Point-counter point". Basically "no damage" run.

Batman is becoming Anakin Skywalker when he loses control on rage when it comes to an issue happening to his dear ones, what of Batman? Perhaps in some moments he is taken too far. When you feel the grip of power, you know part of yourself crave the taste of it. If you reject who you are, you've crossed beyond the line and fell into the bottomless pit done by worst choices. Perhaps this serves as an example when not all heroes are good that we have to be careful who we put our faith in.

Yeah young raw and aggressive Batman is a far cry from the reserved composed Batman of Asylum and City . While the game is overlooked the Deathstroke fight is without doubt the best fight in the game no minions no gimmicks you can’r just beat him with specific gadgets or by wailing on him you need to time counters with attacks at the right moment to break his defense and strike.

Sadly, for me, this is the only Batman game (in the Arkhamverse at least) I haven't beaten. Not that I didn't enjoy it, I got all the way to the end but for whatever reason I just never went back for it. Though I do enjoy the motif of this one because this is pretty much Bruce's second or third year as Batman so he hasn't made his, I guess, "calming connections" yet. Like with Catwoman for instance. No Robin, hasn't met Superman, has seen the corruption in the GCPD...he is literally a one-man army against crime. Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~
