Stoked for you my friend! Wish you the best tunes and enjoyment coming from this superb instrument! You deserve it! Pura vida! Remember me asking you a couple of vids back on some bass suggestions? I went for a Fender Player Series Precision Bass - Pau Ferro - Silver. Super stoked to have it delivered this week. Looking forward to your upcoming vids with this monster of a bass. Take care!

Damn! Reminds me my '72 without the blocks. Unfortunately, family sickness had to sell all my goodies. But she's alive and my biggest fan. This might just have to go into the stable. Thanks Bully, really enjoyed your reviews.

You look like a kid at Christmas!!! Hahaa. Very high quality case....nice! Beautiful bass with the side wrapping on the neck. That really sticks out and looks sharp.

My 1967 Fender Jazz bass had that button the back of the headstock. No one used it so it was removed by 1968.

The sixty-six Jazz was a transition model the only Fender bass to have round tuning keys. I am pretty sure the bridge pickup is farther from the bridge than the seventy Jazz. Very cool!

Loving the white stitching and white ebinding on the case and bass!! What's the black rectangle on the pick guard?

For anchoring finger tips under in order to provide the player with a stable leverage for playing the strings with their thumb, as per 60s basses. Some foks prefer the finger rest for their thumb and placed above the strings for playing the strings with their fingers.

The AVII series have only just started to appear in numbers here in Australia. But, yikes, street prices are around 30% more than I paid for my AO's. I did buy the 54 P on pre order, current price is about $500 Aussie more than I paid. I keep telling my wife I saved her a fortune, but I don't think she sees it that way......

Thoughts on this bass -fender-american-deluxe-dimension-5-string-bass-guitar-maple-neck-natural-us13045230 not sure if you did a review on it yet but i'm looking at getting it and can't find a decent non biased review. That's one thing i like about chu, no BS when it comes to that.
