Omg i know you said you wouldn’t wear it over liquid foundation but would you mind doing that just for the heck of it! I just bought this this morning. I thoroughly enjoy it. I have just slightly oily skin, and rosacea redness. I only applied enough to even out my skin tone and used a setting spray... it held up for me well! I do think the spf i use helped in the same way a primer would, too.

That’s too bad. Most of Fenty products are good but I’m extremely oily so I’ll have to pass on this one. Thanks for your honesty! Ugh I hope they do adjust the formula and it’s something I can invest in later.

Finally🙏 a👏real 👏oily 👏skin review!🥰 It contains 4 typ of silicons for "pore blur", often I have oil-problems wt. this kind of formulation in powders. Maybe that helps you.🙋🏻‍♀️

Ive 💗💗💗👌my Jcat Aquassurance for a year now as a workday nurse 😷PF, have oily/dehydrated skin, buf it in my skin with a dense ELF base brush, set it with a korean toner mister and 💯💓Boom! Its gr8 for me. The appliction method is the key. Sponge is JUST for padding touch up.

I always use foundations to set foundation and concealer and if it still looks a little dry after setting spray then I take a hydrating primer onto a slightly damp sponge and dab lightly over the areas

You should add at the end of the wear test to show what the foundation looks like after blotting. nobody actually goes throughout the entire day letting themselves get that oily. we all retouch or blot & I think adding what the foundation looks like after it’s all oily with blotting sheets or retouching would be good so we can see how it holds up with how most of us are actually going to use it🤷🏽‍♀️

I hardly ever use any powder, other than my Julep translucent powder(which I only use when I have A LOT of make up going on), because I’m combination + sensitive skin, and powders tend to screw with all of that. I stick to setting sprays. Even when I first started to play with make up as a pre teen and teen, I didn’t like using powders. I just haven’t found powder foundations that work with my skin. 😢

I don’t think the foundation had anything think to do with enhancing the flakiness. Even with liquid or cream there would be texture. Because your skin is physically peeling. Great review 😊

liquid foundation doesn't emphasize flakiness the way that powder does. I mentioned it because I didn't even know I was peeling haha

I love this foundation, I really enjoyed the mattifying compact powder so I though I would love the formula. Embryolisse lait creme concentrée+ By Terry primer and a touch up with this foundation is really really nice. I'm not an oily skin but for normal type its really good and I wear all day long a mask on at work, this shiiiit survives 💙💙 hope you gave this baby a new chance 🙏

I want to try this power because I love the Mac Studio Fix powder foundation but damn Fenty has a confusing shade range. Definitely don’t feel comfortable ordering online so I’ll have to check out Sephora and hopefully they can match me with my mask on 😅 if anything I’ll just order your shade or use it as a reference point since my skin tone is very similar.

They don't compare really... Charlotte's is ideal for setting makeup because it's microfine and doesn't add heaviness (or pigment) to foundation. it only sets and perfects

each of the shades has a pretty accurate description online, so as long as you know your undertone and can more or less compare yourself to the model wearing the foundation, that's probably your best bet
