Pretty happy to have a former DPOY onboard. Need that kind of teammate for CC/AB/KM/LH. The fact is that her offensive skills offer her up to CC in many different ways. Pick n roll, pick & pop, swing option, offensive glass... kind of exciting. I AM a little curious as to how CC & NH will mesh together, but Caitlin is so unselfish that CC will DEF. not be missing her. Just hope her hands are next-level the way her D is. I even suspect that NH's defensive ability is BOUND to rub off on AB. If AB becomes a GOOD defender, Indy will go from a pretty BAD defensive team to a GOOD defensive team. Throw in DeWanna Bonner & Lexi Hull & Sophie Cunningham? It's gonna be a GOOD defensive team. Hopefully a REALLY good defensive team. CC on a GOOD defensive team will certainly result in a falking AWESOME transition game. They'll be like the Showtime Lakers, where the D was better than expected, with Magic running the break, THAT TEAM DOMINATED the decade. Doesn't the idea of a W version of Showtime Lakers sound pretty stinkin good?

I think it was a good thing Satou Sabally didn't come to the Fever, she is a stat watcher and just cares about how many points she can score! She wants to be the leading scorer so her box score looks better! It's more about winning ball games not how many points you put up, assists are just as important as putting the ball through the hoop! You get points either way and an assist gets points for your TEAM!

With all the new pieces, i expect that it will take another half season before we consistently see them really gelling & working at full capacity. They have FIVE double digit scorers; CC will figure it out, but that is a lot of hungry mouths. I'm happy that the Fever improved the defense by a lot. Last year if they didnt score well, they lost. This year? They'll be able to win in a few different kinds of games.

... no doubt, Lexi Hull has to be treated right, or all the 'talk' management has been espousing, rings-hollow ... letting Grace Berger go was a decision to go w-experience over youth, many might not agree.. that's okay ... Lexi Hull is lots different, what she brought to all games she played was evident just watching her on court-n-sidelines ... so far team management has been on-the-money making-moves this off-season... hope-believe, will continue

The Fever weren't REALLY going after Cunningham. They more were focused on unloading Smith, Cunningham was a buy product. Cunningham and Colson combined wont have the impact if either Bonner ir Howard. I put those two in a category of "missing pieces". Cunningham and Colson are just extra pieces.
