They do you understand that that California has 8,400 sq miles of National Forest, let alone other natural areas. It takes up to $128,000 to clear 1 sq mile, or in real number terms $10.752 Billion yearly to keep it clean. It is not considering, transportation, equipment, feeding people doing it, etc.

I know that my vote is more valuable here and I can make more impact even though I’d love to leave. I grew up here but it’s not the same state. Regardless, what’s happening is bigger than the bad management of CA. There’s something far more nefarious happening here like in the Hawaii fire. This is being used as political fuel intentionally. Everything burning and creating a “fresh start” is leading the way to smart cities. That is what’s happening. Like I said, this is either arson or DEW and not a political issue.

Plants stabilize soil, the coastal sage and chaparral plant communities have burned away. Imagine pouring water into a sponge, now imagine taking the sponge away. That water will roll right off the table. In this case taking the soil with it. This will happen in the areas near the foothills…
