Firewalls come in many forms, and you can run them on lots of different pieces of hardware. This one is going to be running OPNsense + Zenarmor. It's certainly beefier than your standard home gateway!
EXTRA CREDIT:
All Dell server model numbers follow a definite pattern: "T" or "R" tells you if it's tower or rack-mounted, the first number tells you roughly how beefy the server is, the second number tells you what generation the server is (the R250 is a Generation 15 server), and the last number tells you what type of CPU it is--0 means Intel, 5 means AMD.
Racks are measured in "units". This server is a 1U, or one-unit server, occupying just one unit of space. A six-foot rack is usually 42U of space.
A standard pizza box is also roughly 1U of space--it's an old sysadmin joke that you leave space in between your servers to keep your pizza warm! (Please don't actually do this; greasy pizza boxes and servers really should not be mixed.)
