If you trust him after he killed off an entire tank of fish, that’s on you. Honestly if I just had an entire tank of fish die, I wouldn’t offer to help anyone until I figured out what happened and make sure it doesn’t happen again. This includes making KZbin videos which other people use as advice for the hobby. Just my $0.02. Good luck!

If you consider moving; even when you haven't decided it yet; the "hold back" will be reflected in the tank progression. Especially you know you can't take the tank with you.

sorry to hear the surprising news. i thought i was going to restart a tank immediately after we moved, but that was a factor we considered for sure. even after resettling at a new home, i had to restart into a nano. that’s gonna be tough

Just sell everything, you can buy back the furniture and tank. Most of your stuff is new, you will get pretty good value for it. The mixing tank, I am not so sure of, but everything can be sold.

Sell all the livestock and possibly the tank to your LFS, you can breakdown your stand and equipment take it or mail it and just reorder the same tank to your new home and you just have to restart. Best of luck can’t wait for more quality content.

The majority of people moving out of California that I know is mainly to take advantage of the cost re-estate in California. If you own a home, you can easily sell and move to most places in the U.S. and pay off your new house with extra left over. This isn't a new phenomenon. It happened twice in Utah with people moving there from California.

As a person who left California 22 years ago, I do NOT miss it one bit. Neither will you. If you are leaving for the same reason MANY others are.... Leave everything your are escaping from there and DO NOT bring it with you. You will need to learn to slow way down, yes that is a person waving all 5 fingers. Why build new. Find an older house, take the 500+ k from your California house, buy what you NEED for you and the family and the remodel to your WANT. It is cheaper easier and done right you will still pocket a ton of money... You will be in major culture shock if moving more to the center of the country. This is from my facebook account in 2016 One of the joys about working with the public is I get to hear a lot of things from people who are visiting or just moved here that shocks and surprises them, here is a list of some of those things: 1. I was driving down the road past these giant beautiful houses and just before a big shopping mall there was a field with cattle in it! My Answer: Welcome to small town USA. 2. Man I just saw a guy driving down the road with guns in the back of his truck! My Answer: It is hunting season. 3. I saw a guy in the mall and could swear he had a gun under his shirt! My Answer: Probably it is legal. 4. Why is gas so cheap here? My Answer: Don’t complain it could be your old state! 5. I could sell my house in (insert state) and Buy 3 houses here! My Answer: Yes and there is no rat race, traffic and very little crime. 6. What do you mean a fishing license is only 10.50 I need my (insert multiple stamps) also? My Answer: No your license covers everything except trout and that’s another 5.00 would you like it as well? 7. No I need my Deer, Turkey, Upland Bird and small game tags with that Hunting License. My Answer: They are included in the license. 8. There is no way it is only 6 dollars to launch a boat! My Answer: And if you buy the Corp Yearly Pass for 40.00 and use the ramp 7 times you paid for it and then its basically paying you after. 9. I CANNOT BELIEVE car tags are only 25.00 My Answer: Ya our state is not trying to rip you off at every turn. 10. What do you mean there is no fishing seasons? My Answer: Welcome to Arkansas 11. What is a Farmers Market? My Answer: It is the best place to get fresh produce and other things straight from gardens 12. You guys sure have a lot of Wal*marts My Answer: YES and as they leave slap my forehead (Northwest Arkansas is the home of Walmart D’UH” 13. Why is everyone wearing Camouflage? My Answer: (Depending on time of year) Its comfortable “off season” Its Hunting Season “during hunting season” 14. I CANNOT believe there is no Traffic? My Answer: Don’t worry im sure a Deer will get hit and cause a minor traffic delay. 15. Your roads sure are nice! My Answer: Wait till winter you wont say that!
