I dread when I have to adjust my Milwaukee brand nailer, it's that forever turning and turning in which direction. I hate to do it but the minute this nailer hits the shelves I'll be rocking a new tool. Nothing wrong with Milwaukee but Hello nagging wife the the new chick FLEX is here to stay.

Looks like a nice gun Aaron! I have the m18 18g stapler, convenient but extremely heavy. My m12 23g pinner is the only gun I will use cordless, if an air hose is already out. Except in a tight area where Paselode gases make me nauseated, they are my first choice. True cordless is nice for quick work, but still to heavy and bulky for using all day.
@miillersconstruction

Hey thanks for checking out the video Chip! Shame that the stapler is too heavy. I've heard good things about the M12 Pinner as well. The Paslode gas nailers I absolutely love. But I have heard many folks talk about the smell.

Flex looks amazing once they get a larger tool lineup they will definitely be one of the best but I am too heavily invested in DeWalt 20-volt and flexvolt to change now....
@miillersconstruction
@miillersconstruction 8 ай бұрын
I totally understand that. It's a big move to change platforms when your heavily invested. I was fairly invested in Makita but came to a point the tools were getting old so I made the switch. Really glad I did. Flex hasn't let me down and has continued to prove they are pro grade. I made the switch 2½ years ago.

It looks good to me, pretty similar looking to the m18 Fuel 18g. I would have liked to know the weight of the tool with a 2.5ah battery. Also would have liked to seen the lights in a dark area. Having three leds looked good, though. Appreciate the video on it.

I always thought more gadgets means more to break, like the adjustable nail depth or the quick eject for the drills but so far they have been super durable. My drill has survived many ladder falls, the circle saw has fallen off a roof onto grass and the sawzall has been a tank, no performance loss, just suck they don't look like new anymore haha

@@zabduhamel6745over the summer FLEX incorporated a cue in there system for a 12" miter saw and a table saw. I know for years they have a 7 1/4" miter already available in Germany on the 18 volt line so that is a possibility too. This nailer is a suprise to me I know they made it for Kobalt but wasn't expecting it so soon. I thought the next introductions would the typical April.

I have the old Porter Cable 20 volt 18-gauge brad Nailer it has always done the job that needed to be done. Unfortunately as i age it has become quite unyielding and a bit cumbersome., particularly in tight areas. I hate giving it up as it is a great tool, but now I'm in the market for a lighter version and this Flex looks like a likely candidate. I hope Loews gets it in its stores soon.

lowes has it rn for 279 with a 2.5 and charger OR just a 3.5 if you're already in the line. with the lifetime warranty extended through 2024 I'm thinking about this vs the brushless ridgid clean drive nailer. Never owned a nailer but the bad trim job on my apt is starting to bug me

@@miillersconstruction I just bought one and got home. Plenty of power, just hope it lasts a while already fixed a bit of loose trim with the last notch of juice from the box. got it with a 2.5 ah and a charger. hopefully their 12 inch miter comes down a bit in price this year before the lifeitme warranty ends, that thing is beautiful! Appreciate the video btw. In case anyone else reads this, I bought the craftsman 18 ga 3/4", 1-1/4", 2" assorted 900 nail pack, no misfires just a couple proud nails but that's because of a learning curve with the depth adjust. Many people complain different nail brands not fitting some nailers

So far not a single issue. Time will tell. I have used a variety nail lengths, this thing sinks them every time. I still prefer my paslode though for day in and day out use. Its lighter weight and I dont think any battery operated platform will get to that level. If you dont like buying gas or smelling the gas, the Flex is impressive. But once again, time will tell with more use if I run into issues.

You did the video Dude, i am a Milwaukee diehard anything nailer type of guy. That thing is beautiful and i have to get it. How long does the nailer stays on.. i know Metabo HPT doesn't stay on long which is annoying. Sometimes my cut station is in the loading dock, in another suite or in the parking garage usually not close by. With the M18 or M12 nailers they are always on. It looks smaller than the Milwaukee M18 counterpart
