Absolutely fantastic!! You have to go slow with installing in an old girl like that. Wow, those square nails are like railway spikes! So very glad for Scott helping you! Thank you, Scott. I am so very happy that you are able to get this accomplished, Robert. Seeing your joy is worth 1000X more than my investment. Your happiness, dreams and seeing you save the farm pays me back and then some, always. Never doubt that. ❣️❣️❣️👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My house is 100 years old lots of square nails. I even found a tin can with a bunch of them. I also have the original claw foot tub. I forgot to add , all original solid oaf floors, baseboards, and window frame. Also have original beveled glass front and back doors. A few windows are left also. Have coal shoot also.

I've grown Tabascos for the wife and Cayennes for myself every summer. The pepper sauce I shared with Robert is very simple blend of peppers, salt, and vinegar. The portions of the blind is what is important. A good pepper sauce compliments the food, not burying the taste.

I was grinning like a damn fool watching this!!!! My eyes were tearing up too. This is epic! Best way to learn is have a good teacher, and get in there and get your hands dirty. Always better to take your time and do it right instead of having to go back and fix mistakes. It's a marathon, not a race. So wonderful to see this!

Finally found time to watch this. Scott makes it look and sound so easy but I know I would immediately mess up the measuring and things would just go downhill from there. Scott, I've got a tenant house that's being partially held up by tree stumps and partially held up by nothing at all in case you are looking for a real challenge. ;)

Yes, hot sauce is NOT to burn a hole in your plate! but an added flavor. Tabasco is too much vinegar flavor, I have my own dried hot peppers to go with different dishes. great job with the floor joists. it is the best looking cross supports divided in 1/3 of the length of the joists. once the stairs are in it will be so much easier to get in and out of the house! cannot wait to see the sub-floor in. you are making great progress! one step at a time. You have to keep in mind how many years it took to get it into the mess! and you are doing the re-build so very fast! keep up the progress!

I wasn't going to admit this until the next video, but 1/3 will only cost Robert more money. We went back Fri. afternoon and pulled tape at 4' (plywood comes in 4x8 sheets (48" x 96") respectfully. I don't know what I was thinking. Anyway we fixed it so all of the sheets will land right.(Scott)

Hey, all. This is Susan from WA state. Don't usually comment, but love the videos. I appreciate the fact that you are taking the time to look at every item in that hoard. Just finished helping my friend downsize to a senior living apartment. We went through 4 peoples accumulated belongings box by box and found many amazing treasures. Don't let the haters get you down, Robert! Shame on them. Check out Midwest Magic Cleaning for great tips on working through a hoard. Also love the fire starters. The best botanical I've found for fire starter is dried lavender. High oil content (why it's good for perfumes) let's 1 sprig light it up. I will do my best to send you some starts in the spring. Merry Christmas!
