The fourth song is not just a retelling of the thoughts of the hero of the fourth part, it is also a commentary from Tomstone himself. The fact is that the fans asked to make a song for fnaf 4, but Tombstone had no desire to do it. But under pressure from fans, he still wrote a song and expressed his thoughts in it, especially in the moment with Plushtrap's room.

i'm sure plenty of people have mentioned this already, but the FNAF 2 song, "It's Been So Long," runs on the old theory that The Puppet is possessed by the mother of the child inside Golden Freddy, which is... quite visibly untrue as of now. (at least, i think that's meant to be the takeaway. the puppet lyric could just be a throwaway reference.) but for a while, the song made people think that was the _actual canon explanation!_

Yeah... I really don't think that was the intention on TLT's part. We had no reason to believe the Puppet had an actual spirit inside of it until the minigame in the good ending of Fnaf 3. The Living Tombstone is the exact reason how I realized that there's deep lore in this seemingly one-off horror game at the time, with the lyrics of poor little souls, lost out of control, and forced to take that role. It is surface level lore, but still. Namely, I'd recommend "Save Me (Male version)", "The Puppet Song", "Still Alive (just lyrics for that one to avoid spoilers)", "Bringing Us Home", "It's Me", and "Disconnected." After you play Sister Location I'd recommend "Afton Family", "Join us for a Bite", "Daddy's Little Monsters", "Dance to Forget", "Don't Come Crying", and "Circus of the Dead". After Pizzaria Simulator I'd recommend "Salvaged Rage", "Now Hiring at Freddy's". Edit: Also, I saw you a lottle confused about the "Die in a Fire" song. Basically, the FNAF 3 minigames do show Purple Guy returning to the FNAF 1 pizzaria and dismantling the animatronics. Obviously this was 8-bit in the games, so ot just had purple guy wave his arms a couple times and the animatronics fell to pieces at his feet, but this is probably what the real version woild look like.

something I actually didn't realize until recently and after I did didn't see any reactors notice is that in the first song you can see the power going down throughout the video some other things I will say 1. if you came listening to these songs trying to figure out the lore you will be disappointed bcuz at the time these songs came out all we had were bread crumbs and even then most of them are the size of atoms 2. the "bite of 87" is widely believed to be the bite of 83, and that 87 is a separate event possibly caused by the mangle on the FNAF2 guard 3. there are mixed opinions on wether we are playing as the crying child or his older brother in FNAF4, but next to the bed in FNAF4 sometimes you can see medicine bottles, flowers, and a heart monitor so a thought that has occurred in the past that the events of FNAF 4 take place while the kid is in a coma based on his fear of the animatronics, his brother and other three bullies that were in his final moments awake not actually too sure about the last sentence and also once you're done with the games i do suggest watching matpats ultimate timeline kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKvRk4SEZ6d3Y8k if you truly want to see purple guy suffer, probably not very accurate but it was the most gruesome where animation of his death I could find

The FNaF 4 song was made in a time when the lore of FNaF 4 was contentious and didn't have a consistent explanation. Also yes you are playing as the child, you're in a child's room. Also, the bite wasn't the Bite of 87. This isn't a spoiler, this is something in FNaF 4 that isnt clear. It's the Bite of 83, a completely separate event.

So context for the FNAF 4 song, that was made at a time we all believe that it was Crying Child in the bedroom each night. This was because of Dream Theory which was almost 100% confirmed, but then it was retconned and changed to be Michael and the animatronics weren’t just nightmares anymore, likely now just built by Afton to punish Michael for killing his other son, Crying Child…

I swear to god i teared up when TLT first fnaf song played during the movie end credits. Puppeteer is actually Charlotte Emily, Henry’s daughter, she gives the dead kids their lives as animatronics. Henry is the business partner of Purple Guy (aka William Afton) who helped start and maintain the company. Also most people suspect that your playing Micheal Afton (foxybro/purple guys oldest child) in FNAF 1-3 as the night guard. And the kid in FNAF 4 is known as C.C to most of the fandom, he’s also purple guy’s son, along with Micheal, by the way C.C is suspected to be in a coma during the game, remembering what happened a few days before his birthday/ the bite of 83’

The fourth songs “lore/explanation”: as we saw in the Fnaf 4 gameplay minigame, the four bully’s were actually the crying child’s older brothers friends. His brother was the bully wearing the Foxy mask. It was the year of 1983, where “the crying child”(name yet to be officially revealed, although there has been speculation on his actual name) was supposed to be celebrating his 5th birthday I believe. His older brother, Michael Afton (Mike Schmit, Fnaf 1) in his younger more immature years thought it would be funny to pull a prank on ______ Afton. Mike and his asshole friends knew that his little brother was scared of his fathers (Williams) creations, so why not have the kid give Fredbear a big ol’ kiss? They stuck the poor kids head into Fredbears mouth. He struggled frantically to free himself from the clutch of this monsters jaws, as he did this, he heard his brother and his friends laugh hysterically. “Your brothers such a baby!” They yelled. The more he struggled, the more they laughed. The more they laughed, the more he struggled. And the more he struggled, the higher the chance the suit would lose it’s grip and begin moving it’s mouth to try and continue to sing a mysterious song. Suddenly, the jaw clamped down on the poor kids head. His frantic movements stopped, and so did the laughing. The bully’s along with other spectators watched in horror as the young boys lifeless body hung from the jaws of the friendly singing bear. Michael turned around, but when he looked, his friends were gone. They abandoned him. Then he saw others looking at him with disgust, anger, and fear. He was the only one they saw by the body. They blamed him. Since their father was a co-owner of Fazbears Pizza, everyone knew it was the crying child’s birthday. Everyone was there, even strangers. He looked back at the horror scene, then threw his blood-soaked mask to the ground as tears endlessly streamed down his face. “What did he do?” One woman cried out. “Someone call the police!” Cried another. All sound faded from Michaels ears as he watched his brothers lifeless body sway from side to side as the bear continued to perform. He looked to the floor hoping to wake up from this awful nightmare. “It was supposed to be a harmless prank. No one was supposed to get hurt. I’m so sorry. . . ” As the player in the game, we’re playing as the crying child (I believe who is in a coma) days after this incident. The 8-bit retro minigame was us reliving that horrible day. Another fun fact was if you saw the little Fredbear plush’s eyes following you in the mini games, it was your father, William, who had placed a camera in one of your little plushy friends to keep an eye on you - as he was too busy “ceoing” at work to do so. He also saw that Michael was bullying you because he saw you as a weak little crybaby. Yet all your father would do was console you through your friend Fredbear, telling you that you’re fine and that “Tomorrow is another day.” Edit: it’s not canon, but that’s how I imagined it going down

I love The Living Tombstone's FNaF Songs, I will say the Last 2 Songs are Far apart as it's From the 5th Game Sister Location and the 9th Game Security Breach that the last two are. no, it's the bite of 83 in FNAF 4 the kid is implied to be in a coma stuck in a nightmare Scott thought the fans wouldn't like the ending that every game was a dream from a kid's perspective and then he dies and then Scott changed it. the fourth game was supposed to be the final game in the series.

Just in case you’re still confused on the lore of FNaF 4, it’s still a pain and we haven’t fully solved it it feels, but you mentioned in the 5AM At Freddy’s videos that you’d never encountered Nightmare, the black Nightmare FredBear, who is the final enemy of FNaF 4 and seems to be the manifestation of Death, with him attacking you in the game being symbolic of death finally coming to claim this injured child still clinging to life.
