You know, after lurking around KZbin and watching many a playthrough of this chapter, I have some thoughts. For one, doesn’t Eva’s plan require her to know that neither Wolfgang or Diana acquired their blackmail from their respective person? In Wolfgang’s case, she obviously learned that Damon had it and therefore had nothing to worry about. But what about Diana’s? We never learned who had hers, but we can assume that, like Wolfgang, she ultimately never received hers since she listened to what her note from Eva said (as well as the fact that Eva somehow knew that to be true). In that case, I’m curious in trying to figure out who might have had it and kept it hidden from her. My current guess is Wenona, since she did at least wonder if there was any advantage to keeping the blackmail’s contents to herself (though, I’d admit I don’t know how Eva would learn that). If not her, you’d have to go back and think through every confirmed blackmail pairing, and guess based on what’s left.

Some of the 600 men died in the part where they were fighting the cyclops - it doesn't say how many died there, but at least a few died there - so to get down to 43... yeah, a lot still died during Ruthlessness, but not all the deaths happened there.

That was a crazy class trial and sad execution. Sadly, my favourite female character killed my favourite male character. I still love them both and wished it would be different and they would be still alive. Tbh, when I saw the victim, I suspected Eva first, because she was in the boiler room with Damon and investigated there and she also was there in her free times, but I thought that it was too obvious, but then I was convinced, it was her, because the case is complicated and she made some typical culprit mistakes (like frame another person and claimed that the generator/things has nothing to do with it, but it clearly has). I didn´t wanted it to be her. Also I blame Tozu for forcing her to kill, because I imagine/believe that after Eva solved the math puzzle and opened the secret door with the code, Tozu appeared and said something like "This is the prize for solving that riddle and with this traitor perk you can view all the security cameras here which will be helpful to escape. Will you accept this?" Then she said yes and after she received it, Tozu mentioned the negative consequences about that and that she have to kill or be killed/will die soon when she did not start the killing game and no backed out/no returns accepted. Really unfair and if someone where there for her and stand up for her when her true talent was revealed, then it would be different, because she ran away after some made fun of her talent and no one helped her back then, she was at her lowest and accepted the deal from Tozu (not knowing the bad details, only after she received it). Then when some wanted to be friends with her (like Diana and Cassidy), it does not matter to her anymore, because she thinks that it is all of pity. Really tragic. Also her blaming things to others in and after the trial was because she felt cornered and being hated, so she did that for self protection and also she lied to herself, because of that and what happened to her in the past. I understand her and sympathize with her, but I can not forgive her actions, because killing is bad and she and Wolfgang are my favourite characters and I do not want them be killed/gone. About Wolfgang`s delusions, it seems that he saw Diana as his mother and said these things to her and when Diana trying to help him, she was looking at him, so he could see her eyes and also his reflection in her eyes and he saw his father in that, because he looks exactly like his father which he hated (it was assumed/implied that his father was a bad guy and killed his mother), so he took action and wanted to get revenge and attacked Diana, not knowing it was her (that is what his blackmail was about). So his fate is really tragic, too and he ends like a sacrificing lamb/sheep, sadly. Anyway, it was a great Chapter with some flaws, too, but I hope that they live on (in our hearts and in another universe) and there will be more of them later and they still will have a role to play and getting important later. Hopefully they will return later in some ways (visions/memories/flashbacks/etc.). My headcanon is that they are alive and were going to Mexico/on vacation with all the other DRA and SDA2 characters.^_^

Spoilers for the victim, the killer in the trial and what happens before the execution I think that they missed a golden opportunity with Eva's motive. In the end, it's not easy to sympathetise with her. The golden opportunity was to point out what happened doing the trial with Diana and go "Wolfgang and everyone did the same thing to me as to Diana in this trial, Imagine what would've happened if you continued with that logic, Diana has been nice to everyone and yet once she had no alibi, everyone turned against her. I despise everyone, especially you Diana, it's too late to play nice as the damage was already done" I think that would have strengthened her motive to kill Wolfgang and frame Diana to prove her point. As for the bullet hell minigame, why do I get the feeling that that game might ruin how you feel about the killer afterwards? Let's say that there was a genuine reason why they killed that's more empathic but the bullet hell is harder. People took over 50 mins for that one minigame and that's the first trial. Imagine the frustration afterwards with the repetition of dialogue and you have to start from the beginning every time when you die. You'd be so rage induced that the after trial would be an after thought instead.
